Live like a local at this whimsical Beach House on Tybee Island. It is only one block to the Atlantic Ocean, has amazing outdoor spaces, and hears the waves crashing at night - True Tybee living at its finest!

Park your cars, unpack, and unwind - You'll never want to leave! This slice of heaven features all of the conveniences one could wish for in a beach house. By entering on the first floor, you'll find the stocked kitchen with stainless appliances, hand laid brick flooring, and a spacious den perfect for gathering while preparing home-cooked meals. Upstairs, the airy living space offers an ample amount of comfortable seating for your entire party, with a sunroom attached. Just off of this space, you'll find 2 large bedrooms with beautiful barn doors, and vaulted ceilings. The home features two full bathrooms, thoughtfully located for convenience and guest privacy.

On the first floor, you'll find a bathroom just off the kitchen, tucked between the kitchen and the laundry room. This setup is easily accessible from the main living areas and ideal for guests spending time on the main level. The second bathroom is located on the upper level, to the left at the top of the stairs. It’s just around the corner near the small table area, offering convenient access for anyone staying in the upstairs bedrooms. Both bathrooms are equipped with walk-in showers and do not include bathtubs, providing a clean and updated feel throughout the home.

This home truly highlights indoor/outdoor living, as you will be in heaven with all the great outdoor spaces! On the second floor enjoy the large deck with lounge chairs to soak up the sun and enjoy ocean breezes. Listen to the ocean waves crashing from the screened porch while relaxing on the wrap around couch. Downstairs, there guests can take advantage of the covered porch with grill, dining table, outdoor bar and swings. After arriving home from the beach, take use of the outdoor shower and rinse off before heading inside. The fully fenced yard is beautifully landscaped with a newly renovated heated private pool area, and is truly perfect for families with young children.

Tybee Island is a bustling spot for vacationers and locals alike, with several dining and shopping attractions. We recommend starting your day with an omelette from The Breakfast Club. For lunch, wash down a plate of fish and chips with an ice cold mojito at The Deck Bar. Before leaving town, be sure to grab a few mementos to remember the island at Seaside Sisters. You'll find a collection of tiny beach shops nearby.

Loved, loved, loved the house. We had an amazing time. Our 10 year anniversary was so special and relaxing it’s everything we wanted.
The pool was our favorite part.
It was great, even at the end of November we could swim because the pool was heated.
Dinner was great. I absolutely loved the frying pan I used. I know that’s weird to say, but it’s the little things that make life so great in my opinion. Everything worked. We were going to grill out, but the grill was out of propane.
The house was so cute. Plenty of space. Well organized and clean. We adored the house. Also, there is plenty of places to sleep. It was just my husband and I but we have four kids they could have easily come and had plenty of places to sleep.

We liked, but didn't love our stay at Kittys Cottage. The house itself was clean and neat, the backyard needed some work. Postives: it is a very big place upstairs, and the 2 bedrooms were private and very nice. The table out back we ate most meals at. It was a very short walk to the beach and the parks. Super close to restaurants and a convenice store. There was also A TON of books, almost like a library. Negatives: the backyard looks nothing like the pictures on the site. Most of the chairs in the pictures no longer exist, and the yard needs some TLC. Leaves etc all over the place. The pool heat broke the 1st day, but they got it back up and running withing 36 hours. Some sort of a mix up, a realtor was showing the house the 2nd day of our rental. The prospective buyers acutally showed up before the realtor. I had no problem with it, (because i was there.) but had it had only been my wife and daughter there would have been a problem.

The house is absolutely amazing!! Love the layout and all the "nooks" are so cozy. However, the picture of the pool area is very deceiving. Bushes are very overgrown and it is not as spacious as it looks. But overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back!

Loved it!

We loved our stay here! It was perfect for our family of 4. The pool was amazing and all the outdoor spaces made for fun family time outside. The beds and couches were very comfy and it was so close to the beach. Right next door to restaurants and shops! The area felt safe and quiet. Would love to visit again next summer.

Lovely cottage

This was such a nice vacation. The heated pool was so nice to have in early may. Everything was clean and so convenient. We loved eating our meals outside on the cozy patio right off the kitchen. Everyone had a wonderful time.

All the outside landscape around pool was to much over took walk area pool stayed dirty because of the leaves. No internet for 2 days. Shower upstairs had a bad crack. The area was loud all night but good location to get to everything. We enjoyed our stay but doubt we stay here again.

Loved that the TVs were in family areas so it kept the teens and adults in the same room. There was also a sweet little alcove under the stairway that was great for kids. The entry to the home had a sitting room with lots of books which the teens enjoyed. Great seafood restaurant right next door Salty fish great staff and food everything was pretty much within walking distance

So fun!

We had a great time in this house! Overall it was pretty clean and well-kept. My only complaint was there was a mouse and also some stains on our bed sheets. It was nice to be so close to the beach. I love all the different spots in and outside the house where we could just sit and hang out. I would stay here again! If you plan to stay here I just recommend keeping your food locked away because our little friend helped themself to our bagels.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall good location but could have cleaner. The pool area is basically a red ant hill. We also had a rodent that was getting into our food during the stay. The upstairs shower did not while the shower downstairs was very small. Overall I would say 2.5 out of 5.

Nice place!

We loved staying here! The pool was nice and the location is awesome and within walking distance of the beach and a few shops and restaurants. My teen and the toddlers had a great time along with us adults. The only negative things I have to say is- it’s not really 3 bedroom per se, unless you count the living room area. The kitchen is very small- not a lot of counter space, and you can only use one water thing at a time (shower-washer..etc) bc water pressure disappears. Other than those things we loved this place!

House has charm

The overall property was great. Had to email and have the pool cleaned. The back yard needs gardened and cut back every time the wind blows leaves and dirt gets in the pool. The kitchen is small and worked for us. The house has 2 bedrooms but has multiple couches with pull out beds. The location is great. The upstairs bathroom exhaust fan wasn’t working emailed to have it fixed when we left. The house feels like a home and my kids had a blast.

Would recommend decreasing the temperature a day before guests arrive.

Charming & Spacious

POSITIVES: Overall it was a cute place with plenty of room and seating. Easy walk to beach and some local stores. Outside area was perfect! Great location - easy walk to beach. NEGATIVES: Was told the day before we checked in that maintenance "just reported" upstairs shower was broke and would not be able to be used. Looking back on the reviews - this was not the case as people as far back as April reported the shower was not usable upstairs. After two months you would think they would fix it!?!? Definitely not the cleanest place though - floors need to be cleaned/mopped in between tenants! Be sure to always wear shoes or your feet will turn black. If they would spend a little bit of money on the bathrooms and kitchen this place would be a gem!
