A SHORE Thing !!! Maison améliorée de 4 chambres à quelques pas de North Beach!

Fantastique maison dans un quartier calme de la plage! La maison est de 2170 pieds carrés et dispose de 2 énormes porches enveloppants, d'une grande terrasse séparée supplémentaire et de beaucoup d'espace pour se détendre. Deux entrées de plage privées sont à seulement quelques pas! Nous ne sommes qu'à quelques centaines de mÚtres du célÚbre phare de Tybee, de North Beach Grille et de toutes les commodités de la région de North Tybee!

L'espace

Les rénovations de décembre 2018 comprennent de la nouvelle peinture, une teinture de terrasse, 3 nouveaux lits, 3 nouveaux canapés, de nouveaux accessoires, de nouveaux tapis, draps, serviettes, etc.! Tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour votre confort de vacances !!!

Nous avons un ascenseur Ă  utiliser pour transporter des produits d'Ă©picerie jusqu'au deuxiĂšme niveau ou Ă  utiliser dans le cas oĂč quelqu'un a des besoins spĂ©ciaux en matiĂšre de mobilitĂ©. Nous demandons aux enfants de ne pas utiliser l'ascenseur sans la prĂ©sence d'un adulte.

Inclus est un chariot pour transporter des parasols / chaises / serviettes à la plage. Assurez-vous de le nettoyer pour le prochain invité lorsque vous partirez. Nous avons également inclus quelques chaises de plage et parasol pour votre plaisir de plage.

Le quartier / la région

Il y a deux accÚs à la plage dans le quartier.(Voir la carte aérienne en photos)

Notre maison est Ă  une courte distance de 18 miles de River St Ă  Savannah afin que vous ayez le meilleur de tous les mondes (plage PLUS Savannah!). Uber / Lyft ainsi que les taxis sont facilement disponibles sur Tybee Island

Nous sommes également juste à cÎté de l'autoroute 80 sur le cÎté nord de l'ßle. Nous sommes à quelques centaines de mÚtres du phare historique de Tybee, de North Beach Grille et de tous les autres restaurants et boutiques de North Tybee!

This house is in great location! It is clean and spacious! Our family of 5 had room to spread out or hang out together. The kitchen/living room is large and open so we could be together preparing meals or snacking. The kitchen has every gadget (pans, knives, small appliances, etc.), lots of counter space and pantry.

Fantastic house and location!

Location and house was fantastic! We had an amazing time in Tybee!! Location can’t be beat. House had everything you could possible want or need! The golf cart MADE the week! Walk to the beach or take the golf cart to the other beaches. Our favorite was taking the golf cart to Sea Wolf for a painkiller and dinner. Best cocktails on the islands and the bar has the best vibe!

The house was lovely. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Close to beach and restaurants. Definitely would give more stars to review if I could. We loved it. The elevator was a godsend for groceries and luggage.

A Shore Thing
 BOOK IT!!

We loved our time on Tybee Island and this property. Hosts were great! Communicated quickly and thoroughly. Property was even better than the pictures. Plenty of room for us and our 2 teenage girls. Location is ideal for beach access or doing anything in Tybee. A/C was cold, water pressure was great, neighborhood is very safe & quiet. Hosts have so many things for your time at the beach. chairs, cart, mats, tents, toys, coolers, etc. The north beach is so much less crowded than down south which we loved. We saw dolphins from the beach every single day. kitchen was well appointed, there was even coffee and creamer which was really nice that first morning before we had a chance to get to the store. Rent the golf cart! We loved using it to go to dinner each night with the girls and our dog loved her morning coffee excursions. If we make it back to Tybee I will absolutely book this home again!45/M, 40/F, 17/F, 14/F

Sean was great in communicating with me when needed and was very nice and accommodating The property was as described and we had a great stay! The only reason I gave a ‘good’ rating is because the mattresses on the beds upstairs need replacing otherwise I would have given it an excellent rating. If the mattresses are replaced we would definitely rent the home again.

Nice location

The property is as described and pictured. But, some of the outdoor areas were not inviting or well maintained - the screens were torn, the back deck had not been swept clean, there was a broken window on the deck with the grill, and there was no clean or comfortable table where we could eat. There were a few plumbing issues (toilet not flushing, no hot water) that the owner was quick to resolve, but our stay was interrupted by 3 handyman/plumber visits.

R&R to the max

The property location was great! Walkable to the beach as well and some shops and restaurants. The more touristy area of Tybee is just a short drive away. As much as we loved the island and the sunrise walks on the beach, we always seemed to find ourselves relaxing on the side porch between adventures. A great place to stay with family or friends

Amazing house, perfect location for everything we needed. I stayed here with my grandmas who are very limited mobility wise. The elevator was the biggest help, and the house is spacious enough to walk easily with a walker.

Nice big house

We stayed at this home for a week - it is very roomy, the kitchen is well-stocked for cooking, beds and furniture comfortable. It's a quick walk to the beach, although the boardwalk closest to the house was closed. We rented the golf cart as well, and enjoyed using it to get around the island. The only complaint would be that we couldn't find any flashlights or emergency candles when Helene came through and took the power out. We also couldn't find linens for the pull out sofa bed. Otherwise, it was great.

Peaceful Stay at Amazing Property

We spent a peaceful weekend celebrating my husband's 63rd birthday at A Shore Thing. The large, gorgeously decorated home was immaculate and ready for us early! There was room for a large family, but we stayed in the Master bedroom and enjoyed the adjoining Jetted (Jacuzzi) tub. Even though it was a rainy, windy weekend, we still enjoyed the large wrap-around porches on the 1st and 2nd floors, each with ample places to sit and lounge. It was nice sitting and reading with the breeze cutting the warmth and the wind-chimes chiming. We had a small issue connecting to the wifi, but an email to Sean, the host, had the issue cleared up within a few minutes. There was an error on the guidebook website. Not only did he fix it for us, when I checked the site a few days later, I noticed it was fixed on the site as well. That is customer services, but both us and future guests. Oh, I almost forgot how incredibly helpful the house elevator was during our stay. Just before the trip, I sprained my hip. I could have slowly taken the stairs up all flights needed, but the elevator, made life so much easier during our trip. We paid for the optional golf cart access. Even though we ended up not using it due to the weather, it was nice knowing we had that option at a lower priced than renting on the island. It was a very successful mini-vacation at an extremely nice home with any amenity we could wish for. We would stay again and would recommend this home to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

Family hurricane vacation!

We had a great vacation, despite hurricane Debby. We had wonderful communication with Sean and Katie about procedures and safety. The house provided everything we could need
 plenty of TP, towels, and space. Location was ideal for exploring the beach during lulls in the hurricane and once the sun came out again. 😁. Only a couple things to note: 1. Garage floods with rain. 2. Air conditioner drips really bad in the garage. 3. We had 8 adults, so we put the extension in the table, that was perfect. However, there are not 8 dining chairs. The stools are too tall for the table. Even some folding chairs in the closet would have been fine. We ended up using the bench from the hall. We would absolutely stay here again!!

Great Location

Great location. We have been going to Tybee for several years. Found the location great as it had quick access to the river beach and north beach. Short walk to Fort Screven beach access and Aquatic center which the littles loved. We found the house layout great for our group. We had two families with 9 people and there was plenty of space in the kitchen and dining area. Common areas were great. The wives loved the porches and found them great for a 'hidden' nap from the kids :-) The neighborhood was extremely quiet with low activity which was great for families to get some rest and quiet after a long day of activities.

Family Vacation at Tybee

5 families chose to vacation at Tybee and ours stayed at "A Shore Thing". We had a great time. The house was as advertised. My wife's mother was disabled, so we had chosen this house based on the elevator and it worked great. We had everyone over a couple of times and cooked and played games in the main living area, which is very spacious and everyon enjoyed it. We chose to rent the golf cart and ran around the island mainly to shop and get treats. A close walk from the house was the beach. The beach was not packed and there was plenty of room to setup our Sun Ninja and chairs. Upon returning to the house, we used the outdoor shower to rinse off, very nicely located. I will mention that the beds were great. Everyone was very pleased with how comfortable they were and the great sleep we all had. This was a great stay!!!

Super home in a nice location

Our family, including three adult children, had a great time on Tybee and A Shore Thing was just that. We thoroughly enjoyed the vibe of the northern end of the island. Owners were quick to respond to questions and the golf cart made it super easy (and fun) to get around and saved on parking fees. Great home, super location. Would rent again.

A Shore Thing

Loved this place! After injuring my knee a few months ago the elevator was an amazing asset, very simple to use and for a private elevator it was very smooth. Checkin /checkout was simple, loved the information link for the house with all the detailed info. Simple to the point instructions that didn’t leave you wondering or second guessing on any detail. Beautiful short walk to the beach,gorgeous sunsets, powdery sand, loved using the two access. Very quiet neighborhood, walked to the lighthouse. Went to Savannah for the day. Ate breakfast at The Breakfast Club, good but we did have to pay 8.00 to park. (Seems like Tybee beach shouldn’t charge for parking in the wintertime, just my opinion:). Kitchen was very nice, plenty of room for a larger family. Hot water was amazing and the spa tub was great, never ran out of hot water. One grocery strore, IGA but others across the bridge aren’t that far. We had great weather during the 4 days we were there, only one rainy morning, for Feb great weather, actually got to 70 degrees on day. Would love to return later in the spring or fall. Thanks so much for the use of your lovely home.
