Peaceful Catalina Foothills retreat w/stunning views close to hiking & shopping

Tranquil Catalina Foothills home with stunning views of the Santa Catalina Mountains. This 1407 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with den provides sleeping for up to 6 people. The home can accommodate a group of friends, couples, or a family get-away. Situated on a quiet cul-de-sac it provides the perfect home base for you to explore all that Tucson has to offer. Wake up to the native wildlife including coyotes, rabbits, hummingbirds and roadrunners. In the evenings enjoy the amazing sunsets and city lights from the living room or den.
This cozy home has a full kitchen with dishwasher and the basic amenities you need to make any meal. You will find cookware, silverware, coffeemaker, microwave and toaster. The home has A/C and ceiling fans in most rooms. The primary bedroom has an en suite bathroom. Both of the remodeled bathrooms have showers and granite countertops. Streaming services available with guests’ own account(s). There is a washer and dryer located in the garage if you need them. There is an indoor fireplace and an outdoor fire pit for cool winter nights. For guest that stay more then three week, there will be an additional clean fee of $150.00 every 3-4 weeks.
Enjoy a front-row seat to the breathtaking Santa Catalina Mountains from the covered patio. The backyard is enclosed with a wrought iron fence. There is comfortable outdoor seating for relaxing and a pub table for snacking. A small propane grill is available for your use as well. Garage parking is available and you can park on the driveway or street as well.
The Catalina Foothills area has well-known art galleries, spectacular golf courses, amazing restaurants (Tucson is an UNESCO City of Gastronomy), and great shopping. It is at the doorstep of Tucson’s greatest wonder – the Sonoran Desert. Surrounded by mountain ranges it is the perfect place for hiking enthusiasts.
One of Tucson’s most recognizable features, the mountain peaks of the Santa Catalina Mountains are truly awe-inspiring. Here you can connect to nature and still enjoy many of the city’s incredible amenities. If you are looking for the perfect combination of serenity and action – this is the place to be!

What a great place to stay! The atmosphere of the amazing yard along with all the amenities made it feel I was at home not on vacation. The attention to detail paid by owner made our stay very relaxing and stress-free, we had everything we could possibly need to enjoy a comfortable stay in Tuscan. We were also close to stores and restaurants as well as downtown which made it convenient. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful Foothills home!

Beautiful home, very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Close to everything, nice views, landscaping, covered porches front and back and use of garage very helpful. Only downside is the neighbor across the street, keeps their outside lights on all night, which shine directly into the front bedrooms. Not an issue if windows and drapes are closed, but we were there in April and at night we preferred to open the windows for fresh air.

What a beautiful place!

I felt so close to the desert and to the mountains in the back yard. I liked to sit on the farther patio and watch sunrise, and listen to bird sounds. The feeders brought in so many birds, it was great to see them all. The house was well organized. The owners thought of everything, including some holiday touches since we were there over Christmas. The owners are responsive and accessible. We were very pleased overall and highly recommend this place.

Quiet , near hiking and restaurants.

Loved the back yard bird feeders, the Catalina mtns, beautiful cactus in front and back yards, clean, good kitchen appliances. Clean and thoughtfully decorated and supplied. Will definitely return!

An oasis in the foothills

From the moment we arrived, the location proved to be incredibly convenient. Whether you're in the mood for a great meal, shopping, or exploring nature, everything is just a short drive away. There are numerous hiking trails nearby, making it an ideal spot for anyone looking to enjoy the great outdoors. The real gem, though, is the backyard. It's nothing short of an oasis. The landscaping is stunning,, and thoughtfully placed seating areas that invite you to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings. The views of the mountains are absolutely breathtaking, offering the perfect backdrop for a morning coffee or evening relaxation. It’s easy to spend hours simply sitting by the windows, letting the natural beauty wash over you. Inside the home, the attention to detail is remarkable. The woodwork art, throughout the house is truly a highlight.The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, making it easy to settle in and feel right at home. One of the most memorable parts of our stay was the wildlife we were fortunate enough to see in the back and front yards. From rabbits and javelinas to a coyote and a wide variety of beautiful birds, the backyard felt like a living nature documentary. It was an incredible experience to just sit back and enjoy!

Loved the home, location, backyard. Love to come back and stay again.

The home was exactly as advertised, The owners of the property are so easy to communicate with, and are clearly very nice people who care a lot about their property. We would definitely love to stay in this home again when we travel back to the area. It’s easy to get around to anywhere you wish to go within Tucson and surrounding areas from this location.

Backyard Bliss

Perfect home base to explore Tucson. Located in the foothills near shopping, restaurants, but also plenty of nature. Our favorite part of the stay was starting and ending our day on the back patio. Relaxing, comfortable space to take in the scenery and the local wildlife.

Foothills Gem

We absolutely loved staying at this home! It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The back yard and patio were perfect for relaxing and soaking in some sun, nature and peace and quiet. We enjoyed the many species of birds, squirrels and rabbits on the property as well as the bobcats that walked through the property on their daily treks. We would definitely love to come back!

Property was very clean, uncluttered and comfortable. It had everything we needed throughout our stay. Views were great from the house and neighborhood. Very close to good to great hiking trails. Would definitely recommend staying at this location and will have to come back in the future.

Fantastic foothills

Love this place! It is a very special home. We loved the amazing amount of wildlife to view from the backyard. The mountains make a serene view. Absolutely loved the furnishings and art work. The owners made it feel so homey. Will definitely be back!
