Unwind and create memories in our beautiful lakeside home! Enter the inviting open concept kitchen, dining area and sunken living room. Step out onto the 800+ sq. ft. natural wood deck. The main level also includes three bedrooms and a full bath. On the lower level, you'll find a family room with fireplace, tv, and large table for boardgames, a sliding glass door to the brick patio and expansive backyard, a fourth bedroom, full bath, and laundry room. Enjoy the backyard and its beautiful views. Close to parks, hiking trails, major cities, and universities, this home has something for everyone.

Relaxing House

Everything about the house was wonderful and the host was super responsive to any questions we had (she even Amazon’ed dish soap which the house was out of). I do think there could be more basic things for kids (plastic bowls, plates and utensils, a stool, high chair) — not the end of the world, but since it’s a kid-friendly listing that would have been helpful. The kitchen was wonderful to cook in, but again didn’t have basic things like salt and pepper, oil, tin foil, etc. The lake views were beautiful and we knew we wouldn’t have access to using it (it’s explicit in the listing), but it did make us feel more like outsiders/unwelcome in the neighborhood. The neighborhood was also a little weird/unfriendly — we almost got a ticket when parking our car at a local playground for our kids to play (we were told we needed to live in Trumble to use it). One of the neighbors was also giving us side eye when our kids were playing in the backyard one evening — yes, they were joyfully playing, but it was also at a reasonable hour (6pm). Overall, the stay was great for what we needed — a space for our intergenerational family to connect (we had

The house and complete property were far more spacious than the pictures let on. Everything was clean, neat, and tidy when we got there, the host answered several questions for us a head of time and provided clear and helpful instructions for check-in and check-out. We had 8 guests, which all fit in the space comfortably and we really enjoyed our stay! Would definitely rent here again.

Stunning views!

Had a lovely stay here. The host was super communicative and was able to help us access the property remotely when we had an issue w/ the door access code. *Recommend using the code the host provides directly vs what VRBO emails you. The view of the lake was stunning even from the front door. Beautiful, updated well decorated home w/ a big deck overlooking the expansive backyard & lake. Bedrooms were comfortable & bathrooms were spacious. We hope to be back someday.

Highly recommend this beautiful lakehouse. My family stayed the weekend for Sacred Heart University graduation and everything was perfect. Theres so much open space inside and out. Magical Holiday at The Lake House!

We stayed here to celebrate Christmas with our family and it was amazing! Julie the host was great with communicating if we had any questions. The home and the view of the lake is even more beautiful in person! Perfect getaway

This house was perfect for our weekend. We were in town for a music festival at Seaside Park so the location was great but the property was so amazing, I would come back just to enjoy it more.
