Located in the Tahoe Donner community near Truckee, the home is within about 20 minutes of major ski resorts and just minutes from Donner Lake, making it an ideal home base for year-round Tahoe adventures.

Enter the home and travel up slate stairs into the open great room, where new wood flooring and cozy mountain touches create a welcoming atmosphere. The living area features a plush leather sofa that seats four, two additional chairs, and a cozy wood-burning fireplace with a sweeping slate hearth. A large flat-screen TV with Apple TV provides streaming capabilities, along with a Blu-ray player and a Super Nintendo for nostalgic family game nights.

The great room flows seamlessly into the dining and kitchen areas, creating the perfect space for gathering and entertaining. The dining table comfortably seats eight guests, with two additional seats at the breakfast bar. The well-equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, blue cabinetry with gold hardware, and marble countertops. A spacious island offers plenty of room for prepping and cooking meals together. Just off the kitchen, sliding glass doors open to the large back balcony, where guests can grill on the BBQ and enjoy outdoor patio seating for four on warm summer nights.

Also located on the main level is a convenient half bathroom and the spacious primary suite. Sliding farmhouse doors lead to a relaxing private sitting area with a couch, coffee table, flat-screen TV, and access to a private balcony. The king bed is tucked into a cozy carpeted nook, and a large granite desk positioned near a bright window provides an ideal remote work space. To keep the space cool in the summer months, there is an AC unit in this suite. The en suite bathroom features a double sink vanity and a large tiled dual-head shower with a rainfall shower head and a detachable sprayer. A secondary door from the bathroom also leads directly to the back balcony.

For the guests who are young at heart, a spiral staircase from the living room leads up to a cozy loft retreat. This carpeted space features two full-size beds with reading lights, a TV with streaming capabilities, a play desk, and a dedicated work space. An AC unit helps keep the loft comfortable, making it a fun and relaxing space for kids or extra guests.

Downstairs, you'll find additional sleeping spaces and a large game room designed for relaxing after a day of adventuring in the mountains. Bedroom 2 features a comfortable queen bed, while bedroom 3 offers a queen under twin bunk bed. This room features a dedicated workspace and sliding glass doors provide direct access to the back of the home.

A newly remodeled shared bathroom on the lower level includes a double sink marble vanity and a large stand up shower with a rainfall shower head.

The spacious game room is the perfect hangout spot for family and friends. Guests can enjoy a game of pool while others relax in the seating area or watch the large flat-screen TV. The room also features a gas fireplace, sliding glass doors to the back of the home, and a wet bar complete with a dual wine fridge to keep drinks and snacks close by. For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are rare, we ask that you are patient as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control. While we will try to accommodate all requests, we handle refunds for situations like this (power outages, appliances breaking, etc.) on a case by case basis.
