Welcome to our charming historic retreat, originally built in the 1940s as a rectory, and now a serene escape located in the heart of downtown Truckee, right next to the Mountain Lotus Center & Yoga Studio.

Enjoy the convenience of walking to nearby restaurants and shops in historic downtown, all while taking in breathtaking views of Mt. Rose from the front and the tranquil Trout Creek from the back. With accommodations for up to 12 guests across 10 beds, and ample parking spaces. This home is perfect for retreats, groups, and families. As part of your stay, you'll receive two complimentary guest passes per day to our world-class yoga studio.

The Mountain Lotus Yoga Retreat House spans three levels, with the top two floors available for short-term retreat rentals.
On the second floor, you'll enter through a hallway that opens up to a spacious living room, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen, with a laundry room conveniently located at the end. To the left, you'll find a cozy study with a sofa bed, and a bedroom with trundle bunk beds—both connected by a full bathroom.

Further down the hall, another bedroom awaits with an en suite full bathroom. Upstairs, the expansive primary suite offers a king-size bed, the room next to it has a trundle daybed, and single full. Then across is a smaller adjoining bedroom with bunk beds. The upstairs features a full bathroom with a shower and ample closet space, making it a comfortable and private retreat.
There is no AC. To keep the property cool, open the windows and sliders at night to let cool air in, then close the windows, doors and blinds when you leave for the day.

*Please be aware that there is a downstairs, full-time below the home. Please be mindful.

Rounding out this awesome property is a front porch with table for two and a semi private backyard area with patio furniture.
Mountain Lotus Yoga Studio and Cafe are right next door. Enjoy 2 complimentary yoga passes per day during your stay, and grab a meal at the Mountain Lotus Cafe. This property would be the perfect choice for a yoga enthusiasts, or a friend or bachelorette party or reunion.
