Spend fun-filled days skiing, hiking, or biking. In warmer months, the beach is just 15 minutes away. Enjoy access to the community recreation center, offering a lap pool, hot tub, sauna, tennis, and basketball. Ride the complimentary shuttle for easy transport.

LIVING AREA

Unwind into vacation mode on the sofa and armchair in the living area, featuring soaring vaulted ceilings. At night, get cozy by the gas-burning fireplace and stream favorite shows on the smart TV.

KITCHEN & DINING

Prepare hearty meals in the kitchen, equipped with a full suite of appliances and an array of helpful gadgets.

While dinner simmers, perch at the kitchen bar with seating for two. When it's time to eat, gather around the six-person dining table.

In the evening, keep mealtime simple and sizzle steaks and veggies on the gas grill.

Community amenities include a free shuttle for village and resort transportation, as well as the Northstar Recreation Center's fitness center, lap pool, hot tub, sauna, and tennis and basketball courts (available for a daily $5/per person fee). There is also a gated parking area at the center.

Unassigned parking is available for two cars in the open lot.

Access to the condo is via one flight of exterior stairs from the parking area.

Outdoor wood-burning fires and charcoal grills are prohibited per local ordinances (gas grills are ok).

LOCATION

Hit the slopes at Northstar Resort, just 1 mile down the road. Northstar Village offers an array of dining, shopping, entertainment, and year-round activities.

Ride the Highlands Gondola from the Village to the Ritz-Carlton for a sumptuous meal. In warmer months, take a hike to Sawmill Lake from the mid-mountain point.

Spend blissful summer days on the shores of Lake Tahoe at Kings Beach (8.5 miles).

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Family Ski Trip

The condo was perfect for our family of 4. We felt comfortable the minute we walked in the door. Would recommend the couch be replaced. It's pretty broken down.

Could never get a hold of management. This was the second property run by the same management team different office. I don’t know what they do all day but they definitely aren’t doing their job.

Voyage en famille
The unit was very clean and comfortable. Parking on Rocky Point Rd easy. We were extremely disappointed to find the pools and game-room are a 5 minute drive away in Northstar Village, not walkable/onsite as the listing makes it sounds. Also, there is a fee of $10.00 per person, per visit to use them. For our family of four that was $40.00 per day that we hadn’t expected to pay. There was no shuttle running during the three days/two nights we were there, so we had to drive back and forth. Note that the parking lot at Northstar fills up quickly on weekends. Also, there are no pool tables in the game room despite two being prominently displayed in the photos for this listing - there are only arcade games. This was a bitter disappointment to our older child. Check in is at 4:00 pm and checkout is at 10:00 am, so the day of arrival and departure are useless except for sleeping. Visitors should know that Vacasa (who manages this rental) cannot be reached by phone (though they do provide a phone number) - everything is via text. If you have questions or problems (as we did) you will feel the absence of live humans to talk to (and long waits for text responses due to their “experiencing higher than normal volume”) very frustrating. Though the unit is comfortable and well appointed, we will not stay there again. $40 to swim per day on top of rental was a lot for us, and having to drive and park was frustrating. Vacasa is so impersonal and inaccessible if you have questions.

Simple Condo overshadowed by lack of empathy from Management Company

Condo location is good and was clean. It is outdated, but served its purpose well. My issue was during check out. Snow storms closed all roads and condo was unavailable to extend. I asked if we could use the condo past checkout so we could find another place to stay since both 50 and 80 were closed. We were told no, we must be out at 10am. We were promised multiple return calls as we scrambled to find a place to go, none of which were ever followed through on. I understand the condo not being available due to other rentals, but being forced out 6 hours before the next rental during a snow storm proved that Vacasa is a business with no empathy and does not follow through with their promises. No thank you.

Good location but very outdated

Property is in a decent location close to Northstar Mountain. Checkin process was standard. Property is very outdated, feels like it’s been maintained by the owner themselves. Appliances are severely outdated and make so much noise that you can barely hear anything when one is running let alone if you have the washer/dryer, heater and fridge running all at the same time which is generally the case for a ski weekend. This place needs some serious updates.

Great Stay

Property was very clean and neighborhood was nice. Northstar shuttle service has some challenges likely due to Covid. We waited longer than indicated for the house to northstar shuttle (by 30 minutes), and there were also long lines on the end of day return shuttle. All else was good.

Well Stocked Townhouse

We stayed here a few days before Christmas. The townhouse is a short shuttle ride to the village. Indian Hills is the first stop on the way back from the village. The unit is well stocked, including humidifier, slow cooker, cooking spices. There was plenty of room for four of us to play board games infront of the fireplace.
