Cozy cottage with amazing view on the Big Bald Lake in Bobcaygeon

Enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time at our newly renovated cottage nestled between Big Bald and Little Bald Lake.It is newly renovated cottage featuring four large bedrooms with two new bathrooms. The cottage has some of the best fishing in all of the Kawartha, including Bass,Muskie, Pickerel and Perch.Strong internet connections for the opportunity to work remotely. The cottage has a large deck and BBQ, perfect for enjoying the summer weather and morning coffees,or outside dining. Moving down from the oversized deck, there is also a large fire pit to roast marshmallows as your watch the fire flies light up the night. Take an afternoon nap on the hammock overlooking the lake.The cottage has weed free swimming with a dock which is perfect for both fishing and swimming. This cottage is truly perfect for families with little children and grandparents as it is flat access to the water. Lots of green space to enjoy lawn games. Have your own boat? No problem, there is a boat launch within walking distance, just around the corner that is open for public use with no charge. The property is very private and truly allows for you to connect with nature. The Cottage is close to many amenities including grocery stores, gas stations as well as many lakeside restaurants and cafes ,as well as the LCBO and beer store. In addition, there are many nearby wineries which offer year round wine tasting tours.
For the avid golfer, there is no shortage of quality courses for all skill levels within a short drive.
Bobcaygeon and Buckhorn are both less than 15 min drive.

We had an amazing four day family vacation at this beautiful cottage. The building itself is tastefully decorated, the kitchen is well supplied and the beds are comfortable. The outdoor spaces are spectacular-large patio with barbecue and outdoor eating area, not far from the water. The kayaks and paddle boat were used frequently! We plan to return next summer!

The home was beautiful! we all commented on the cleanliness and comfort. the grounds were lovely. we spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the property. everyone enjoyed the kayaks that were avaliable for our use. the firepit area was an amazing feature we used each evening. our hostess, Venera was available to answer any questions quickly.we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend and would return again next year!

Beautiful! Would definitely go back!

Really appreciated the cleanliness and location of this property. It had outdoor activities which my family really enjoyed and kept thanking me for finding this cottage for our Thanksgiving weekend getaway. We would definitely go back. Hopefully in the summer to take advantage of the lake and warmth of the season.

Excellent location, beautiful property. The cabin was wonderful but the best part was the outdoor space with many areas to relax and the kayaks and paddle boat were perfect to take out on the calm water. Would love to stay there again.

Amazing cottage!

My family really enjoyed their stay at this cottage. The property is much beautiful and bigger that the photos on the listing. The cottage is beautiful and has all amenities. The host was good with instructions and prompt communication. The property is 20 minutes drive from grocery stores and restaurants which makes it a ideal location. We are planning to visit again in the future.

Perfect for Families

A lovely cottage, even nicer than the pictures! The backyard is especially gorgeous. It was the perfect place for my group of three adults and two young children. The kids had lots of fun playing in the backyard and toasting marshmallows around the fire pit and there was lots of room for them to play inside too. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well-stocked. We very much appreciated the easy checkout without a big chore list. We had no issues and no complaints!

Camp Bachelorette September

I couldn't have found a more beautiful place if I tried! I planned my little sisters bachelorette party and found this cottage on Bald Lake the pictures looked beautiful and the price was great! When I arrived to the cottage pictures didn't do justice the view was GORGEOUS and the cottage itself was immaculate, very clean, tons of fun games/activities and some super comfy beds. Venera was a great host very helpful with any questions I had and gave me all the information I needed well in advance. She checked in to make sure I arrived and gave me a reminder before my check out. All the ladies had a fantastic time and I'd definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking to have a great home away from home. Thanks Venera we will definitely be back again next year ❀

Hidden gem

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! The pictures in the listing really don't do this place justice. The new outdoor upgrades are fantastic, lots to do to keep everyone of all ages occupied. Our kids had a blast, as did the adults. House had everything we needed and beds were super comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and nice clean BBQ. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to just unwind and relax. Also an easy drive to do some exploring around the Bobcaygeon area. Venera was very easy to deal with, all instructions for checkin and checkout were very clear and easy to follow. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us!
