Nearby, Ossuccio offers the opportunity to hire a power boat and play some tennis, whilst the passing Greenway del Lago route and the close by San Martino and Sacro Monte di Ossuccio climbs provide the perfect excuse for walkers to get out and about and explore. Other local highlights include Villa Carlotta, Villa Balbianello and Lido di Lenno (all just down the road), as well as Menaggio (with its Lido, famous Golf club and easy bus and road links to Lake Lugano). This villa is excellent; it is on a purpose built complex of four holiday homes, with excellent parking facilities. The arrival instructions were very clear. The house itself was immaculate on arrival, and had all the amenities we needed for a very comfortable stay. It is within 20 minutes' walk of the lake front, ferry terminal, restaurants, gelateria and so on - as long as you don't mind the walk back up the cobbled path on the way home! Como itself was about 45 minutes' drive away, along a lakeside road. There are local buses, but we'd recommend a hire car and the ferry to make the most of the area. The pool was a good size, but unheated and not fenced (not an issue for us, with older children). George and Diego were excellent points of contact, and very helpful with any queries we had. A five star experience!

Fantastic villa, great views and could watch the Lake for hours! Everything we needed was provided, beds comfortable, air con great. The garage underneath was massive and big enough for our VW camper van to fit into. Room for 2!Only downside was the electricity cut out, a known problem with Italian supply apparently. It was very easily fixed but we couldn’t find the supply in. The agents provided a video but it would have been useful to have in advance!! (Supply is by the gate at roadside). Not an issue once you know where to find it we would love to come back to this villa and Lake Como

Fantastic holiday

Thank you for a fantastic stay!! We really appreciated the travel instructions to get to the location. We hired two cars which fit perfectly into the garage. The bedrooms were spacious. There was two bathrooms which was fantastic as there was six of us. The door leading out to the patio was originally broken however we messaged George. I believe who then got Diego to fix it for us. We really appreciated the little things like the washing machine tablet dishwasher tablets. The only thing we noticed was there seem to be a lot of ants but given the location we don’t think this could’ve been helped so we didn’t mind.
