Jenny answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We love that the heated garage provides a separate place to hang out while the house can remain quiet for others needing a rest. We love staying here!

We were a group of 8 friends in the area to ride the ORV trails. Ideal location to do that. After riding it was great to come back to the man cave garage and kick back, play some pool and watch the ballgame. We've been doing this annual trip for almost 20 years and this is one of the best places we've ever stayed. Thanks for the accommodations Jenny! We will be back and I highly recommend Blue Bear Hideout!

Great Location and Family Set Up

The check in was super easy. The property is laid out in a family friendly way with two bedrooms upstairs and three in a basement/lower level. The kitchen is for the most part well stocked. Lots of pots and pans, dishes, and utensils. It lacked in sharp knives and covered storage dishes would be very useful to hold leftovers. However, the inside of some of the kitchen cupboards and contents need some attention from a cleaning perspective. This goes the same for the garage gathering area in drawers and counters. The beds/pillows were comfortable but would also suggest bringing extra blankets/pillows if you need to use the pullout couches. If these were available we could not find them. The garage/gaming area is so useful and welcomed if you are vacations multigenerational. Allows larger louder groups to be separated from the house.Jen the property manager was great in responding to a few things that came up. In spite of the few suggestions above we would definitely rent the place again.

The location was perfect. Not a busy area, but plenty to do that’s close to the house. The house was amazing on the inside and out. The garage was our favorite part. The garage did not have A/C, but was a great spot to hang out with all of the games out there. Highly recommend this location for a getaway.

Disappointed on cleanliness of home & property

Check in process was good. Arrived to the home to find sand on the floors. We had to sweep. Two of the four mornings we had mouse droppings on kitchen counters in the house. The property had tall weeds growing around home & the grill area was not maintained. The grill needs to be replaced. Wire is holding grates together. One of the bathrooms had yellow brown stains along the wall. I’ve stayed at many VRBOs and have never encountered mice in the home we rented. This was unacceptable & made myself & other guests feel uneasy. Too bad as the location is good to Bear Lake & ORV trails.

Great place for SxS weekend. Trail is right across from the house. Garage is an excellent gathering and gaming space. Close to gas and restaurant too. Appreciate the hospitality! Will stay here again!

Perfect setting for your party

We rented this place in February and it was perfect for hosting a large group on guys. Almost feels like your own private bar! Would definitely come back and stay again. Jenny was extremely accommodating.

Hunting families trip

We had a great time at our trip we love this house 🏠 also is the best place for hunting all the state lands are awesome only one thing I will recommend for homeowner to add spoons forks plates, pants, a lot of more kitchen stuff are missing and need to be added. Other than that. The house is gorgeous and we’ve been there more than 6 times thank you.

Family Reunion

We come to the Blue Bear Hideout every year for our family reunion. The place is perfect to fit a group and has everything you can think of to have a good time. We spend all our time in the garage - what a blast! Highly recommend “Garage Pong” for those that are not skilled ping pong players and end up hitting the ball off the garage floor most of the time. Jenny is great and very easy to communicate with. We will be back again next year!
