The Space:

Our one-bedroom, detached guest house with living area and full kitchen (including stove, full-sized fridge, coffee maker, toaster and cookware) is a perfect stay for 2. It is adorned with vintage prints and funky art and includes a full kitchen and TV with Roku. Equipped with everything necessary to stay in, you might not want to leave!



Guest Access:

Parking on-site is free. Local breweries and eateries for every palate (pizza, pho, burgers, crepes, fine dining) are only a short walk or bike ride away. The city is very walkable, but also accommodates car or bike parking if that's more your style.

We had a mixed experience with this VRBO stay. The location was excellent—quiet and within walking distance to the Swamp Rabbit Trail, restaurants, and shops. The house was very clean and cute, making it a comfortable place to stay.However, communication with the host was poor. We had no communication from the host prior to our stay. We did not receive check in information ahead of time and had to contact VRBO customer support on arrival day to get it, only getting instructions a hour before check in. During our stay, we had hot water issues and received no response from the host. We also didn’t get check out instructions until 15 minutes before check out, despite messaging them with over 24 hours in advance of our check out time.Overall, the property itself is nice, but if you need communication from the host, this may not be the best choice.

Although we had to leave early due to inability to sleep on the mattress (medium), the host got personally involved to offer us a 50% refund of their fee. They offered more but we're limited by VRBO! We also discussed the absence of both closet and dresser space and corrections that could be made. The rating was based on location and the discussion with owner on the improvements to be made, including labeling and thermostat instructions.

This was a great place to stay in Traveler's rest, and is right in the middle of everything. The unit itself was quiet and comfortable, and the shopping and restaurant area was a couple of minute walk. There is also a great walking and running trail as well. Cannot recommend this more highly.

My visit started out with a glitch - no code to get in the door. Fortunately the PM picked right up. The host was so lovely and addressed a few issues that I had. Previous renters had done a number on the place unfortunately. The home is super cute and has everything you need - including washer and dryer. The area is nice and it is walkable to restaurants. Just make sure they are open - the ones I wanted to see were not open early in the week. I think the hardest part of renting is that the owners are often not able to get to a property to make sure it is in tip-top shape, and rely on cleaners who perhaps don't give feedback. I was fortunate that the owner/host was responsive. I'll definitely stay again!

Great location. Quiet neighborhood

We stayed for two weeks while monitoring construction on our new home. The location was perfect for us. Having laundry and a full kitchen was a real plus. No time for Swamp Rabbit Trail this visit, but it is steps away. Pink Mama’s Ice Cream and Top Soil restaurant provided delicious treats.

The apt. itself was very nice and just as described in the listing. My major complaint was there was no response from the owner when I messaged her twice with questions concerning the property, both before I arrived and while I was staying there. It was an uncomfortable feeling not being able to have communication with the owner. There was a For Sale sign in front of the place and no one was living in the house on the property so perhaps they weren't concerned anymore.

Wonderful experience

From the moment we stepped inside we just loved it! The house was spotless and appeared to be new. Kitchen beautifully appointed with very nice appliances. Living area, bedroom and bath also very nice. Decor was so cute, the hosts did a great job. We came to bike the swamp rabbit trail - access close by. We had a wonderful time and plan on returning. We will stay here when we do.

Easy check-in, parking steps away, and entered into small but well decorated mini-home that was exactly what pictures included. Quiet area, bed was comfortable, and good water pressure. Short walk to the downtown area and good location for exploring Greenville area. Enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic

What a place to stay! Great decor, perfectly equipped and comfortable. Any small concerns were taken care of quickly. Very close to the Main Street. The neighborhood is in transition but that didn't bother us at all. Thank you Kali for a wonderful visit.

Fantastic Accommodations for Furman Parents

We came in town to visit our kid at Furman. We were close, comfortable, and able to walk to the shops and restaurants in Travelers Rest. Very happy with the property and location.
