Le Shearling est une conversion de grange moderne à Shearstone Farm à Blackawton, dans le sud du Devon. Il est situé à cÎté du Dartmouth Golf and Country Club, entre Dartmouth, Kingsbridge et Totnes. Il a été rénové à un niveau élevé. L'accÚs à The Shearing se fait sur une piste agricole à une voie.

Cette propriété a un chauffage au sol partout.

Il y a un grand espace de vie dĂ©cloisonnĂ© et spacieux. Une grande fenĂȘtre orientĂ©e plein sud inonde la piĂšce de lumiĂšre naturelle. Il propose Ă©galement un canapĂ© et un fauteuil deux places relaxants, une table basse et une tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat avec un ensemble Sky.

Il y a une cuisine entiÚrement équipée avec une plaque vitrocéramique Neff et un four intégré, ainsi qu'un réfrigérateur intégré avec compartiment congélateur. Il y a aussi une machine à laver indépendante et un four à micro-ondes. Il y a aussi une table à manger en bois avec deux chaises élégantes.

Juste à cÎté du salon, vous trouverez un grand placard qui abrite un séchoir à linge, un aspirateur, une planche et un fer à repasser.

La chambre relaxante est inondĂ©e de lumiĂšre naturelle par la grande fenĂȘtre qui donne sur le patio et la campagne au-delĂ . Il dispose d'un lit super king-size confortable et zippĂ© qui peut ĂȘtre composĂ© ensemble ou sĂ©parĂ©ment en lits jumeaux (veuillez prĂ©ciser lors de la rĂ©servation). Il y a aussi deux tables de chevet avec lampes, une armoire double indĂ©pendante en bois et une chaise.

La salle de douche moderne et blanche est entiÚrement équipée avec une grande douche à l'italienne, WC, lavabo, sÚche-serviettes et un placard de salle de bain miroir.

Le grand patio pavé est entouré d'une élégante balustrade en verre avec une table et deux chaises offrant une vue sur les champs, ce qui est idéal pour ceux qui voyagent avec des chiens.

Il y a un grand parking Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de la propriĂ©tĂ© et un espace de rangement pour vĂ©los, canoĂ«s, etc. peut facilement ĂȘtre amĂ©nagĂ©.

What an amazing stay and such a relaxing location and Ron & Margaret were a breath of fresh air on our UK trip and we loved the Devon sense of humour!Thank you for the lovely cream tea and fresh eggs and the excellent clean accommodation.Lovely to have the Golden Retrievers around too and the Ram ...who has now gone elsewhere and will soon be in with eight sheep, doing what a Ram does best!!We hope to stay again on a future trip!

Excellent property & Hosts.

Property was perfect for us in every way, Clean, comfortable, quiet with everything needed. All appliances, beds, linen etc are all good quality which makes for a comfortable stay. The hosts (Margaret & Ron) are very welcoming, and left lots of nice things in the property to start us off, including a Devon cream tea, which was very welcome after a long days travel. Would definately stay again if going to Devon.

Super stay!

Had a wonderful stay at The Shearling. Everything was perfect. The cottage was a lovely size and very comfortable with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The hosts were wonderful, very friendly and not at all intrusive. The location is great for visiting the surrounding area if you do wish to venture out but also if you just want to relax at the cottage in the peace and quiet of the Devon countryside. All in all, we couldnt have asked for a more pleasant and relaxing stay. We've already recommended the cottage to a few of our friends.

Fabulous barn conversion with so much room and everything you need, the shower especially was perfect, and the bed soooo comfortable.To have the use of a large field and orchard at any time for the dogs was priceless.The hosts could not have been more friendly, relaxed and hospitable - a lovely cream tea on arrival was delicious!!

Our 2nd visit to this superb little gem, excellent location and the owners are lovely people, so quiet and peaceful at night, The bed was so comfy I could of quite easily took it home lol,We stopped just after the Christmas for NYE to avoid the fireworks as our pets hate them, will be returning in the near future

Perfect stay in every way.

This was probably the most ideal self catering property my daughter and I have stayed in since we started annual visits to Dartmouth in 1998. We loved the location, peaceful yet just a short drive to the town. The accommodation was spotless, spacious and provided everything we needed. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, and the free range eggs, milk and scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam were an unexpected treat. A delightful stay in every way.

Excellent Place to Stay

Well equipped one bedroom barn conversion in a secluded location. This was a real find and the ideal place for us to stay with our two dogs. This is a great base for exploring the local area. The hosts, Margaret, Ron and Sue were very friendly and the welcome goodies were much appreciated. This is probably the best self catering accommodation that we have stayed in. We would certainly return here if we are in the area. Thank you all

Wonderful stay - hosts / property & location

Well what can I say, from the well equipped and very clean property, to the lovely hosts and the tasty cream teas on our arrival, the stay was just perfect. Lovely and quiet and so near to Dartmouth, Kingsbridge etc, by car. Our dog Ash was made very welcome and he enjoyed his early morning/evening walks up the quiet lane and the fields. We will definitely be back next year and thank you again Margaret, Ron and Sue for the really lovely stay.

Perfektes Ferienhaus fĂŒr 2 in sehr ruhiger Umgebung

Wir haben ein sauberes und gut eingerichtetes Ferienhaus vorgefunden. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist sehr einsam, so dass wir fĂŒr Unternehmungen immer das Auto benutzen. Das war uns aber vorher bekannt, daher kein Problem. Zum Einkaufen war es nicht weit und das nĂ€chste Pub war genau eine Meile entfernt. Wir haben viele schöne AusflĂŒge gemacht und unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das war unser erster Urlaub in SĂŒd-England und wir werden sicher noch einmal zurĂŒckkommen.

Whats not to like

For us it was perfect. Tucked away and a field to give the dogs a run. Accommodation is very good. Massive bed and quality fittings all around. 10 mins from Dartmouth and not far from everything basically. Thanks

Quiet location not far from the sea

We found the Shearling Cottage to be perfectly presented and suitable for us, a mature aged couple. It was well appointed, extremely clean and it was a pleasure to have such good quality linen on the king size bed. The cottage is on a very quiet farm but is only 4 miles from Dartmouth so the attractions and facilities of Dartmouth are not far away.
