Nestled in Pocono Farms Country Club, Velvet Pines is a charming 3BR cabin with retro style, rustic comfort, full-house AC, a private hot tub, grill, patio lounge, and peaceful forest views. Spend summer days at the community lake, beach, pool, golf course, or nearby scenic trails, then return for dinner on the patio, a relaxing hot tub soak, or cozy evenings by the fire table under the Pocono sky.

Important: Community Amenities – Seasonal & Usage Notes

Many amenities are seasonal and weather-dependent

* Pool and beach typically open Memorial Day Weekend.
* Kayaks & Paddle Boards: Available at no additional cost from Wednesday through Sunday, between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM during the summer season. These are only accessible on those days and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
* No animals are allowed in amenity areas (pool, beach, playground, courts, restaurant).
* Guests must bring their own sports equipment unless otherwise provided.

Fees & Access
* Wristbands are required for all guests to access amenities.
* Golf Course – Additional fee (varies by day and holes).
* Fitness Center – $10 per person, per day.
* Pool Access– Included for up to 6 guests; additional guests (age 6+) pay $10/day (cash only, paid at pool).
* All other amenities are included with wristbands unless noted.

Guest Registration & Wristbands

* All guests must complete a pre-arrival registration form at least 4 days prior to check-in.
* Late registrations may incur a $75 fee.
* Wristbands must be worn at all times for amenity access.
* Renters are required to provide their vehicle's plate number and a valid driver's license upon entry into the community.

In the living room, sink into plush seating, stream movies on the framed Smart TV, or enjoy classic board games after a day exploring the Poconos. Vintage décor and soft lighting enhance the space, creating an easy, laid-back setting for connection and downtime.

Bedroom & Bathroom Layout
Bedroom 1 (Main Level): Queen bed with plush bedding, reading lights, and warm earthy tones for a comfortable retreat after a day outdoors.
Bedroom 2 (Upper Level): Two twin beds with cozy cabin décor — perfect for kids or friends.
Bedroom 3 (Upper Level): Queen bed under vaulted wooden ceilings with warm lighting and soft textures for a relaxing mountain cabin experience.

Two full bathrooms with plush towels and refreshing toiletries offer a comfortable start to each day.

The Kitchen
The kitchen blends modern comfort with vintage charm — butcher-block counters, subway tile, and retro-inspired appliances in crisp, inviting tones. Brew fresh coffee in the morning or prepare pancakes and brunch before heading out to explore nearby lakes, trails, and mountain attractions. Fully stocked for cooking family meals, casual dinners, or snacks after a day of adventure.

Outdoor Spaces
Step outside into a peaceful woodland setting made for summer relaxation. Soak in the private hot tub, grill dinner on the patio, or gather around the fire table in the evening with your favorite drinks. Whether you’re starting the day with coffee outdoors or winding down after time at the lake, pool, or trails, Velvet Pines offers an easy, relaxing Pocono cabin escape.

Please note: the home does not have a washer and dryer. There is a laundromat located about 5 minutes away if needed.

Policies:
Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 8 AM
No smoking inside the home
No events, parties, or large gatherings
Primary renter must be 26 or older; no groups of young adults under 26 yrs. old
No Fireworks

There is a $150 flat fee for dogs, a maximum of 2 dogs. No other pets are allowed. Must provide age and breeds as you book, must be fully house-trained, and we do not allow puppies. It must not be left unattended inside. All outdoor droppings picked up.

Your safety and the well-being of our home are of utmost importance. We have exterior security cameras for added security.
