The lake has a good population of trout and char. You can fish against the purchase of a fishing license. After the fishing trip you can prepare the fresh catch over the campfire in the hanging grill. The area around the house is child-friendly, including a shallow beach on the lake. Great area all around for hiking and collecting berries. Day trips by car to Harstad and Narvik as well as to Lofoten and VesterÄlen are recommended.
