Located approximately two hours north of Toronto, in Tiny Township, where Ontario’s most beautiful, scenic beaches and sunset views are - along the shores of Georgian Bay

Although the cottage is not waterfront - guests can enjoy our local deeded access (semi-private) beach less than a five minute walk away

Our cottage is perfect for mature adults or a single family, up to four (4) people

Your dream cottage is accessible year-round and comes fully equipped with all of the luxuries needed to enjoy the cottage life, both indoors and outdoors: - including a hot tub in use year-round, central heating/air conditioning, and an emergency stand-by generator for uninterrupted power to the whole cottage (hot tub included) in the rare event of a power outage.

Our guests are taken care of and provided top tier Concierge level service, 24/7. We provide guests with the utmost worry-free vacation home experience. Use of all household items, appliances, and amenities: kitchen supplies, towels, linens and bedding are all provided.

Our cottage is modern, luxurious and fully stocked. Everything has been thought of with guests in mind. From the moment guests arrive- the landscaping and curb appeal, through to the thoughtful touches inside- such as a personalized welcome station with a bounty of local and regional tourism information and literature.

The large backyard is fully fenced in (ideal for dogs), has a covered/screened in deck with a seating area (seasonal), a flagship Broil King natural gas BBQ (with rotisserie) and a firepit with Muskoka chairs for those beautiful summer nights.

The strategically placed hot tub with a lounger seat in view of the fire pit ensures the ultimate in relaxation. The hot tub is in operation year-round. A large folding/tilting umbrella maintains the cozy and intimate atmosphere and provides guests with the utmost comfort.

Featuring Bell Fibe internet, with 500 mbps service up and down - it is more than enough to support all guests’ devices, streams, and work-from-cottage requirements simultaneously.

There are three TVs total, each with streaming sticks. Guests can enjoy live satellite TV, or use our streaming services, (with some content in ultra HD 4K) including:

The main floor includes the living room with TV and sound system, kitchen, dining room, two bedrooms (king and queen size beds), and a full washroom. The master bedroom has wall mounted TV that guests can enjoy while in bed.

The basement includes a TV entertainment area, with an Apple TV 4K, a PlayStation 4, a gas fireplace, a billiards table, and a foosball table. A third room here includes laundry facilities for guest's convenience.

As mentioned prior, our cottage is perfect for mature adults or a single family, up to four (4) people. The sleeping accommodations are in the two main floor bedrooms: a king bed and a queen bed.

Our local deeded access beach, (semi-private and shared with local homeowners) is less than a five (5) minute walk away. The beach is on Georgian Bay, with crystal clear waters and amazing sunsets. Water shoes are recommended as the beaches in this region can be rocky. See pictures.

We love dogs and allow your pet to accompany you during your stay. We ask guests to inform us if bringing their dog and to ensure that they are clean, well-behaved and house trained. Guests are responsible to clean up after their dog in our backyard.

For recreation, (seasonal) there are two bicycles, an outdoor basketball net, a portable volleyball/badminton kit, and a slew of other indoor/outdoor games available for guests’ enjoyment including: drinking games, card games, board games, and outdoor yard games such as: Axe-Throw, Spikeball, jumbo Jenga and jumbo Connect-4, and Ring Toss.

Guests may also choose to drive to and enjoy the popular Tiny Township Beaches, which are approximately 25-30 minutes away:

Cawaja Beach,
Concession 13 West Beach,
Jackson Park, (Municipal boat launch)
Lafontaine Beach and
Woodland Beach.

THE NEIGHBOUROOD

Although our cottage is in a rural area, we are on a populated residential street with neighbours nearby.

The cottage is NOT a suitable destination for parties - guests are required to be respectful of noise levels.

Nearby Awenda Provincial Park is known for natural historic beauty and archeological discoveries dating back thousands of years. Guests will enjoy the trails, scenic beaches, and stunning sunsets.

There are plenty of activities to enjoy there, including seasonal camp sites, canoeing in Kettle’s Lake, and kilometers upon kilometers of trails (varying difficulty levels) for hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing, or snow mobiling.

A car is required for transportation in this rural area.

Closest amenities are in the nearby small towns of Penetanguishene and/or Midland, about 20-25 minutes away.

Tranquil Cottage in Awenda

I travelled to Awenda with my family and we all had an amazing stay at the cottage. The property was even nicer than we expected! Location - the house is located in a beautiful waterfront neighborhood surrounded by the enchanted Awenda park. We were just a very short walk from gorgeous Georgian Bay beaches. Despite being the middle of peak summer travel season, we didn’t see anyone at the adjacent beaches and only an occasional neighbor. It was such a peaceful location. A relatively short drive to Midland brought us to plenty of shopping and other attractions. Cottage - the home was beautifully updated with stunning kitchens and bathrooms. The owner’s focus on guest experience was evident throughout, including a nice hot tub, fire pit with comfortable seating, pool table, mood lighting, gas fireplace, miscellaneous supplies, and a plethora of outdoor and indoor games to provide hours of fun family time. It truly felt like were staying at a friend’s house. The only suggestion we have is to add a small dresser in the 2 secondary bedrooms for clothes storage. Communication - the property owner, Enis, was extremely quick in responding to questions and addressing any concerns. We had a couple of minor problems during our stay and he addressed them quickly. Overall, highly recommend the area as a vacation spot and this cottage for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

A wonderful vacation

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The hosts are amazing and very kind, the personalized touches for our stay were very thoughtful and they provided detailed information prior to check-in too - its obvious that they have your enjoyment of their cottage and amenities and surrounding area in mind. The cottage is beautiful, everything was in working order and well maintained. The cottage is also impeccably clean! There is a selection of outdoor as well as indoor games to keep everyone entertained and of course there's the hot tub - just the place to chill out after hiking in Awenda Park. Not to forget the fire pit; the seating area on the deck with its gas fire table and BBQ - we tried them all. Add to all of this the weather, which was great during our stay, and it all made for an excellent vacation. Thank you for sharing your cottage and we would love to retun!

Great get away!

This was a great little spot! Close to Awenda Park and just a walk to the bay! Went snowshoeing on the bay! Really cool! The hot tub was great to have! House was clean and lots of added touches! Lots of towels, kitchen was well stocked with condiments and any cooking utensils. Even chocolates and champagne were left for my 50th! Very thoughtful!! Would book again!
