Welcome to Blue View Chalets – your ideal year-round escape! The Aurora Chalet comfortably hosts up to 12 guests and is just a 10-minute walk from the lively Blue Mountain Village. Perfectly positioned across from the renowned Monterra Golf Course, this chalet blends classic ski-chalet charm with modern comforts.

The upper level features a bright, open-concept kitchen, dining, and living space, offering stunning, unobstructed views of the slopes. Step out onto the balcony or relax in the private hot tub as you take in the mountain sunsets with your morning coffee or evening wine.

In the warmer months, take a dip in the seasonal heated pool or unwind in the hot tub year-round. Whether you`re planning a family getaway or a retreat with friends, Aurora Chalet is the perfect home base for exploring everything the Blue Mountains Resort has to offer, no matter the season.

‱ PETS

Pets are welcome, as I know they are members of your family too. However, there is a pet fee. Please inform me about your pets when booking. 1 dog per stay. Please let me know ahead of booking. 2 dogs can be considered, depending on size. Please confirm.
The pet fee ensures your pets are welcome, but it doesn`t cover the responsibility of cleaning up after them, including shedding.
By “allowing pets,” we expect you and them to respect the furniture and the house itself.
In case you have allergies, please know that the house welcomes pets.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
‱ The property is just a 5-minute drive from the Blue Mountains Resort
‱ Please note that there is a 24-hour noise By-Law in effect
‱ The hot tub can be used only from 7 am to 11 pm
‱ Fines for violating the noise bylaw can range from $615
Check-in time is strictly after 4 pm, and check-out is strictly before 11 am to allow time for enhanced cleaning. A late checkout fee of $50 will be applied for every 30 minutes past the checkout time. Despite the fact that we often get requests for either early check-in or later check-out, however, it’s not possible to ensure our cleaning team has enough time to prepare the place for you.

‱ No excessive noise (subject to Blue Mountain Bylaw) or your stay will be terminated
‱ Cannot exceed 14 guests
‱ The condition of the home must be left in the same way it was entered.
If an exhaustive cleaning is required due to a non-adherence to rules, an amount of 150$ will be charged to the deposit on file
Please help us keep this space as beautiful as you found it. The cleaning fee ensures you arrive at a pristine home, but it’s not intended to cover any mess left behind. Your care is greatly appreciated
‱ All dishes are clean and put away. Please do not leave dirty dishes in the dishwasher or soiled dishes left in the sink
‱ Do a light sweep of the kitchen countertops and put all the furniture back where you found it
‱ Please don’t leave any extra food in the fridge or countertops; take everything with you
‱ If you are traveling with a pet, there should be no pet fur left on the furniture, on the floor, or the appliances
Additional fees may be incurred if excessive hair or any damage your pet may have caused is found, in the amount of 150$
‱ You MUST pick it up after your pet
‱ If you travel with dogs, keep them OFF the beds and the couch
‱ By “allowing pets,” we expect you and them to respect our furniture and the house itself
‱ Any damage, chewing, or scratching of surfaces will NOT be tolerated, and you can be charged from your deposit

‱ Please be aware that you are staying in the woods. It is possible that you will see insects during your stay
‱ Walls, floors, and linens must be kept free of stains
‱ No shoes inside
‱ For your safety, please inspect the BBQ grill before using it to make sure there is no build-up (fire hazard)
‱ Smoking is strictly prohibited inside or around any of the chalets, hot tubs, steam rooms, and the pool. Any violation of this policy will result in a $500 fine.
‱ NO Fireworks Permitted

The security deposit in the amount of 500$ will be authorized (but not charged) on the credit card on file on the day of check in. The security deposit will be released 7 business days after departure if there is no damage or any breach of our policies described below. The security deposit shall be used to pay for damages to the property including but not limited to the structure, hot tub, contents, furniture or appliances. The security deposit shall also be used for any major cleaning of floors, walls, appliances, hot tub or furniture that requires extra time from our cleaning staff.

All or part of the deposit will be forfeited if the tenant breaches one of the following:

1.The maximum occupancy of the chalet. Breach of this will result in full forfeiture.
2. A noise complaint is reported against the tenant or any of his/her guests. Breach of this will result in full forfeiture.
3. The tenant parks more than 4 cars at the designated parking areas. A breach of this will result in a $250 forfeiture.
4. Smoking is strictly prohibited within or in any of the chalets or in any of the hot tubs or the steam rooms. A breach of our smoking policy will result in a $500 forfeiture.
5.Using illegal drugs is strictly prohibited anywhere on the Blue View property. A breach of this will result in a $500 forfeiture.
NO Fireworks Permitted. Failure to adhere to these regulations will result in a $650 fine.

Hot Tub and Sauna Use & Technical Issues

While we make every effort to ensure that all amenities, including the hot tub and sauna, are fully operational, guests acknowledge that occasional technical issues may occur beyond our control. This includes situations where the hot tub or sauna are malfunctioning.

In such cases, we will try our best to resolve the issue as promptly as possible. However, if a verified hot tub or sauna malfunction detected and cannot be resolved during their stay, a reimbursement of 10% of the total stay cost will be issued. This reimbursement constitutes full and final compensation, and no further refunds or claims will be considered.

In the event of a cancellation, any refund due shall be issued strictly in accordance with our cancellation policy. The applicable credit card transaction fee, together with a non-refundable administration fee of $75, shall be deducted from the refund amount.
