Charming 3BR Hilltop House, Newly Remodeled with Arcade

WOW! The Lindan Hill House is a perfect VRBO balance of luxury and value! Stay and play as you enjoy our 5 Star remodeled charming home in Terryville. This quaint and comfy home has everything you need to enjoy your stay including 3 BR with a King/Queen/2 Twin beds with premium bedding. The cozy remodeled basement is perfect for popcorn & movie, dinner & drinks at the bar, and has a game/arcade room with an arcade, foosball, checkers/chess, and board games. Entry Patio- Great place for the jackets, shoes, and everything else you need to be inside but not in the house!

Kitchen- Completely remodeled with new countertops, tile, appliances and more. This quaint kitchen features all new appliances including thoughtful additions of an air fryer, Keurig coffee machine, and even an Alexa Echo Dot to keep the mood nice with music in "Rosie's Kitchen". It was named after the original owner who would cook every day with the fresh vegetables right from the garden in the back yard!

Living Room- This space features newly refinished wood floors and is a nice quiet place to sit and read a book, enjoy the view from the large picturesque window, or watch something on the big screen with your HD Samsung Smart TV. Grab a magazine and enjoy your coffee.

Bathroom- This bathroom has what you'll need with a nice large mirror and vanity, and new floor and bath tile featuring a bathtub and shower. We believe in nice fluffy towels so you'll have plenty of those! Shampoo/Conditioner are provided.

Master Bed Room- The downstairs master bedroom features a queen bed, a closet with full length mirror and dresser for plenty of space for your clothes that you bring. You'll find a hamper in each room, which we find to be essential when we travel ourselves to keep your room looking tidy! A smart TV is provided in this room along with an AC unit in summertime.

Upstairs Bedrooms- The 2nd & 3rd Bedrooms features a king bed and 2 twins--so plenty of sleeping space here at the Lindan Hill House! Both rooms have closets and dresser space if needed for your belongings and clothes. Both rooms have heating elements as well as AC's in the summer months to stay cool if a heat wave comes through!

Basement- The downstairs basement is one of our favorite spots! Here is where you'll relax and get cozy on the sectional couch, watch some of your favorite content by logging into your Netflix, Amazon, or any of your apps to get some TV time (we also have Samsung TV Plus and other content available on Xfinity Flex as well on this TV.) The bar is always open to host any of your dinners (whether you are cooking or getting takeout like the infamous Terryville Pizza!) with plenty of seating for the family in our corner dining table and at the bar. The fun doesn't stop there....take out a board game, challenge all the high scores and each other on our full size PacMan Arcade system (12 different games), revisit your checkers or chess skills on the vintage game table, or take on a game of 1 on 1 or 2 on 2 with some fun at the foosball table. The losing team has to do the wash (washing machine and dryer available for use in the basement)! Still daylight left? Play some Frisbee Kan Jam outside or a game of wiffle ball…you’ll find something to do here to make a few memories!

Den- The den is located on the first floor and we have set up multiple luggage racks in this room for a quick and practical location to store all your luggage that you may be traveling with. This way you are not having to try to get them in the rooms and can keep your space open and more spacious in your three bedrooms. We can't stand when we get to a hotel and it just has one luggage stand, so we have four for your use! Also a dual purpose dining table/desk makes for a nice place for a quick email to be sent off or took for a casual breakfast or lunch spot if you don’t want to head downstairs to the larger dining table. Optionally, a pack and play is available for use in this room if you have a little (bring your own sheets).

Garage- the two car garage is locked up and not automatically part of the rental although you can request to use it during your stay, you’ll need to call or obtain a separate lock code and run over a few details prior to using it. The space can also be used, if requested and approved, for luggage holding space up to five hours before your check in time or five hours after your check out time.

Don’t forget our outside backyard featuring an oversized picnic table and two Adirondack chairs underneath the apple trees to eat, drink or hangout and enjoy the sound of quiet! That is unless there’s a gun game of wiffle ball or Kan Jam going on!

Our goal is for you to enjoy your stay here---and we have spent extra time and thought in all areas of the house so that you can enjoy your stay with us!

The entire house is accessible with exception of one storage closet on the main floor, one storage closet and maintenance room in the basement, and the garage (garage use can be requested by communicating with us for a special lock code). Garage can also be used for luggage hold area up to 5 hours before check in or 5 hours after checkout but this must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.
