Puffin Cottage Holidays welcomes you to The Pennines in Tenby. A five-bedroom property, set out over three levels, situated near the supermarket, train station and beach so you have all amenities on your doorstep to ensure a wonderful seaside break with loved ones.


Tenby or Dinbych Y Pysgod, ‘the little fortress of fish’, is steeped in history and seaside charm. The immense town walls wrap around the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants that line the cobbled streets. The castle ruins stand sentinel on the hilltop, looking out to sea and the working harbour is a bustle of activity. As you trace the shoreline, treat yourself to a seaside favourite of fish and chips or a refreshing ice cream and marvel at the colourful Georgian houses reflecting on the glistening sea. Be sure to take a trip to Caldey Island . As soon as you set foot on the island, a sense of tranquility and peace washes over you. The Tenby Coaster, an open topped double decker bus, offers a hop on hop off service so you can get from Tenby to Saundersfoot and catch the bus back all whilst being treated to the most spectacular views of the coast. The Pennines is the perfect base to travel to the nearby towns and villages to visit the many attractions and beaches Pembrokeshire has to offer!

Kitchen


A compact kitchen with all you may need for your self-catering holiday by the sea. Including appliances such as an oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine.


Living/Dining room


A bright space with comfortable seating for up to 5 people (along with pull out chairs for the dining table), a wall mounted TV, dining table and chairs. Patio doors lead onto a balcony with artificial grass and outdoor seating.


Bathroom


The family bathroom comprises of a bath, separate shower unit, washbasin and mirror.


Cloakroom


The separate downstairs toilet is adjacent to the bathroom.

A cosy bedroom with single bed and built in wardrobe and storage space.


Bedroom 2


A double bedroom with quirky rope lighting, built in wardrobe, full length mirror and bedroom washbasin.


Bedroom 3


A double bedroom with ample storage for belongings in the built in wardrobes and a bedroom washbasin.


Toilet


Upstairs toilet and washbasin.


Bedroom 4


A bright single bedroom with wardrobe and storage.


Bedroom 5


Double bedroom on the third floor with storage and large velux window to wake up with the sun and fall asleep with the stars.


Outside


The outside area is a balcony leading from the living area. Furnished with artificial grass and outdoor furniture to soak up the sun and the cheery seaside atmosphere of Tenby.

Please note: That stag and hen parties are strictly not permitted at this property. Mixed group and same sex group bookings may be considered by prior application only and are subject to owner's approval and checks.

Check in is from 4pm on the day of arrival.


There is a refundable £100 damage and good-housekeeping deposit when staying at this property.

Terms and Conditions of Hire.

Bookings of all holiday accommodation whether made by telephone, e-mail, in person, in writing or over the internet are accepted by Puffin Cottage Holidays acting as the agent on behalf of the Owner. The contract to occupy the property is between you and the owner.

By making any booking with us, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions and agree to comply with and be bound by them.

These booking terms and conditions include a number of defined terms as follows:

"Booking" means the legally binding reservation for use of the property, with a specified start and end date.
"Contract of Hire" The legally binding contract between the Hirer and the Owner
"Deposit" means a deposit of 20% of the total holiday accommodation cost (which includes any "extras" selected at the time of booking).
"Balance" means the balance of the Total Charges payable by you after payment of the Deposit as set out in paragraph 4.
"Website" means the booking website.
"Lead Hirer" means the person who has booked the accommodation.
"Guest" means you and each person staying in the property with you.
"Owner" means the owner of the Property you book which is the subject of the Contract of Hire. We do not own the properties on our website.
"Agent" means Puffin Cottage Holidays.
"Property" and "Properties" means the holiday property you book or enquire about through us.
"You" means the lead person making a booking through us.
When you make a booking through us you are confirming that you and every Hirer understands, agrees and accepts these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as any breach may result in the Owner (or their representative) refusing to allow you and your guests to enter and stay at the property or requiring you and your guests to leave the property before the end of the holiday period without any compensation or refund.

1. Contract and Booking
We act as agents for the Owner. When you make a Booking through us the holiday let contract in respect of the Property is always between you and the Owner. As Agents we accept no responsibility for an injury or damage caused as a result of the Contract.

Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under 21 years of age.

The Lead Hirer must be one of the Guests staying at the property and shall not part with possession of the property or share it, except with other Guests named on the booking form.

The Properties are not intended to be reserved for the purposes of parties and group bookings, including for stag, hen dos and birthdays, may not be allowed unless explicitly agreed with the Owner. In these circumstances the Owner may impose special requirements (including the possible requirement for, but not limited to, an extra damage deposit payment)

No Bookings are confirmed until the Deposit (or Balance and Deposit if the holiday is less than 8 weeks away) is received and written confirmation of its receipt has been sent.

Once a booking is confirmed it cannot be changed by you, unless agreed by the Owner, or by us on the Owner's behalf. If we or the Owner agree to make requested changes to your booking (for example, amending the date or Hirer) you will be required to pay £25 amendment fee per change.

2. Booking Fees
A booking fee of £24.00 is payable when making a booking. This is included in the displayed price of the holiday.

3. Deposits and Balance Payments
Bookings made within 8 weeks of your holiday date must be paid for in full at the time of booking. For a booking made more than 8 weeks before your holiday a deposit of 20% of the total due will be paid when booking to secure the booking. The balance will be paid 8 weeks prior to your holiday. If you make a booking within 8 weeks of the start of the holiday you will be required to pay for the holiday in full at the time of booking to secure the booking. In the event that the balance payment is not received by the required date, Puffin Cottage Holidays reserves the right (on behalf of the Owner) to cancel the booking and will be under no obligation to refund any deposits previously paid.

The booking fee and Deposit are non-refundable unless we are unable to accept the booking on behalf of the Owner, or the Property is unavailable at the time of the holiday

4. Damage Deposits
Some properties may require damage deposits for all bookings made. If this is required, it will be recorded in the Property Description. Any damage deposit will be due along with the final balance payment, 8 weeks prior to your holiday, or, where the booking is made within 8 weeks of your holiday, the damage deposit must be paid in full at the time of booking. The damage deposit may be held by Puffin Cottage Holidays on behalf of the Owner. Whilst we will use our reasonable endeavours to liaise between the Owner and the lead Hirer, any disputed claims must be settled between the Owner and the lead Hirer and Puffin Cottage Holidays are not liable for any disputed claims.

5. Availability
The Contract of Hire is made on the understanding that the property and its facilities as published will be available for the dates stated. In the unlikely event that the property is not available through events outside the Owners control the lead Hirer will be notified as soon as possible. The lead Hirer shall be offered alternative dates or, at the Owners discretion, a refund but will have no further claims against the Owner or Puffin Cottage Holidays. Puffin Cottage Holidays will not be responsible to pay any compensation or expenses as a consequence of a Property not being available in these cases. The booking fee will be non-refundable in these circumstances as we will have carried out our services for this to you at the point of booking.

6. Guest Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation from the lead Hirer, the deposit and booking fee will not be refunded. In the event of cancellation after payment of the balance every effort will be made to relet the property. If such reletting is possible the balance or that part thereof that is paid by another client and recouped via replacement booking will be repaid (less the deposit and booking fee).
