Beautiful house for the whole family to enjoy

Come and unwind in our newly built contemporary rustic home located in the hills with farmland, orchards, and greenery as far as the eye can wander. Enjoy the natural design, with light, open spaces with a splash of contemporary... adding a touch of luxury. Our home includes a large kitchen and dining area, fit to accomodate and entertain groups in a warm welcome setting. With a large lawn, in-ground trampoline and playground, it will give hours of play for families.

We have chosen a very rustic feel to furnish our home, we have put a lot of creative licence when building and decorating, such as using an old oak barrel professionally water proofed as a soaking bath tub in one of the bathrooms.

The large living, dinning and rumpus all connected together will let you enjoy family time very comfortably, with ample space, and if the kids want to watch a movie, or play board games, you can easily close the rumpus doors and enjoy more private spaces.

Your experience here will take you back in time with the farm sink, the large falcon oven, old copper range hood etc...hosting and entertaining large groups with ease. You can enjoy some form of luxury with the look of the modern black taps, double shower in the master bathroom and sleek concrete floors, amongst other features.

The house has underfloor heating automatically set up in case temperature drops, and thermally broken double glazed windows will perform extremely well to keep you warm on cold nights in the winter, as well as open wide in the summer to give you a spectacular view, and breeze. The ceiling reaches 4 metres high in the north facing side of the house, giving a great feel of space and natural lighting. The walls have the highest form of insulation that we are aware of in New Zealand.

You can also take time the opportunity to relax outside, while taking in the most beautiful country scenery.

You can also have larger group, use the couch futton in the rumpus for the kids. Make your time count at an affordable price bringing larger numbers! But be sure to check the room description, bedroom 3 only accommodates children or teenagers.

Nothing is undersized in this 240 square metre home, every one can sprawl out inside with ample space. A quick drive and you can enjoy all the Bay of Plenty has to offer, all winter and summer long!



*We accomodate someone in a self contained flat at the back of the office, who is very respectful and will not interfere with guests at all (they have a seperate entrance and courtyard of their own).

*Our lovely next door neighbours who live in the cottage just down the driveway will not be in your way either and will respect your privacy.

The whole house is at your disposition. The master suite, walk in closet and bathroom, the 2 bedrooms with bathroom on the left wing, the 2 bedrooms with powder room and bathroom on the right wing are all available for you to use as well as the kitchen, living space, scullery/laundry, rumpus and large office area.

We have an orchard next to the house that you can feel free to walk through to pick seasonal fruit from. The trees are young though and don't all bear fruit yet.

We also have chickens who should produce some eggs: help yourself! Though they often hide their eggs, cheeky girls!

*We ask that you respect the privacy of the small self contained flat and their courtyard, which you can see through the scullery / laundry window door. We ask that you do not access that courtyard beyond the garden planter boxes.

Our cottage house is directly next to the house, there is not fencing, but they are private and their deck outdoor furniture area faces away from the house. They are close friends of ours, and they will be available to you if you ever need anything.

You must take a great look at the bedroom configuration before booking, bedroom 3 isn’t ideal for adults sleeping arrangement.
