We had a lovely stay. The casita met all our expectations and then some. It was like a long, warm embrace from an old friend. We had plans to use the casita largely for sleeping but ended up staying in and relaxing most of the weekend. It turned out to be what we really needed. With so many museums, galleries, dining and shopping opportunities just outside our door we know this is the place to stay and are heading back soon to take advantage of the AAA location, being able to walk Taos can’t be overvalued. Being surrounded by so much of Ms. Jerby’s original art made it feel like we were spending a night in a museum or gallery. Our one caution would be to trust the casita’s description and be mindful of the spiral staircase if you have mobility issues. We are in our sixties and navigated it fine but getting the bags up was a bit comical. We are already looking at the calendar for our next opportunity to stay with Ms. Jerby and explore all that was available within an easy stroll.

Glad to stay here again!"Spacious" is right. I used the well equipped kitchen every morning and the easy-to-work laundry machines a few times.The location is superb for walking access to galleries, restaurants, the plaza and a public park, and for vehicular access to connecting roads for shopping and public trails in the area.Bring grippy-soled shoes for the spiral staircase that connects the main floor to the loft bedroom and bathroom.

Nice large casita w lovely pieces of art by the owner. A few things caused our moderate rating of our experience- VERY BRIGHT, making it hard to sleep, very narrow spiral staircase that was difficult for 2 people in their 70s to go up and down and the bathroom was upstairs.

Loved the casita! one must be mobile with the spiral staircase so plan ahead.I wanted for nothing as the casita is well provisioned. Location is terrific for Taos Plaza access.Be sure to walk to La Cueva Cafe for excellent food.

Perfect location - one block to Taos Plaza

This property is bright (nice big windows), conveniently located to Taos Plaza, clean and nicely appointed. (Note: some folks might find the spiral staircase difficult to navigate.) Convenient off-street parking in front of casita. Property worked perfectly for our stay in Taos.

Cool Setup & Great Location

My husband and I visited Taos for some concerts in August. We enjoyed our stay here! The casita is unique, clean and in walking distance of the plaza. Something to consider is there is a narrow, spiral staircase to get to the lofted bedroom and bathroom - cool feature - good to know ahead of time. We would rent it again if given the chance!

Charming Casita adjacent to the plaza

This charming casita is perfectly situated right off the plaza on a quiet street. We highly recommend it for anyone who is comfortable with using a narrow, spiral staircase. We will certainly stay here again.

Incredible location

This was place was amazing. We knew that it would be as we stayed here last year, too. You have to be a little agile--the bedroom is accessed via a narrow spiral staircase. But the casita is beautiful, comfortably furnished, with just about everything that you could need. And the location--well, if you're visiting Taos it could not be more convenient. A+

Perfect location to everything. Slopes are about 30-40 minutes. We went to Taos and Angel Fire. Walking distance to historic downtown area that included restaurants and the art district.

An enchanting stay in Taos

The property is gorgeous with many pieces of NM artwork, many of them Inger’s. It is perfectly located, just a few steps from Taos Plaza and our new favorite coffee shop World Cup CafĂ©. The casita is spacious and airy and has everything you need. We had a really marvelous stay over the Christmas week. And Inger is a sweetheart. If you stay here be sure to pop into her gallery next door and say hi. Highly recommended.

Taos Weekend

We have stayed here before. We love Inger's artwork and the keep sakes that decorate the unit. Lovely kitchen with a window to the south and the great room has north and west windows that add to the charm of the unit. The location on Ledoux street is perfect - a quiet street just 1/2 block from the plaza. Old Taos at its best.

Cozy and close to everything Taos stay

We loved the space - the light, the art, the convenience of being in the middle of Taos. We walked to restaurants and shops, and the art center where we saw our daughter dance with her dance ensemble. Easy to get to to hiking, hot springs, tourist attractions. The fall colors were absolutely fantastic! Hosts were responsive when there was an issue. Would definitely stay here again. Be aware that the only bathroom is in the loft, up a spiral staircase, if mobility is an issue.

Okay experience

Unfortunately this was not a comfortable stay for our Christmas Holiday. The dishwasher needs to be fixed/attached desperately. When opening it the entire dishwasher falls out almost crushing your feet. There is no cold water in the shower. The cold water facet is broken, so we had to take scorching hot showers which made it so we only could bare to shower once each. There are nails sticking up in the floorboards in the bedroom which made us nervous, luckily we didn’t step on them. Also the home does not seemed to be fully cleaned. There were many dead bugs in the bathroom and in the main living area and dust.. We also had to buy trash bags and dishwasher pods since there were only two each. We paid a lot for a comfortable stay and we really wish we had stayed somewhere else as this was a big disappointment. These issues have to be fixed as soon as possible for the next guests, especially the shower and dishwasher. The weight of the plates/dishes made the entire washer fall out without any of us touching it. This could easily crush someone’s feet or hurt a child. And the shower was absolutely unbearable without cold water. Inger is absolutely wonderful and I feel bad writing a bad review, but I think it is necessary.
