Appartement idĂ©al pour une visite dans le centre historique. Situe juste derriĂšre la cathĂ©drale on ne pouvait trouver mieux. Appartement un peu sombre mais trĂšs fonctionnel. La terrasse est sublime mais le mobilier extĂ©rieur devrait ĂȘtre Ă  revoir. Parasol cassĂ© et piĂšce d’eau en terrasse inexploitable.

Lovely apartment in a perfect location in the centre of town but down a quiet side street. We slept very well and it had everything we needed. The terrace is incredible - we could have stared at the view all day. The housekeeper Ann was exceptional, giving us so much helpful information. We would happily return!

Spendid stay!

Overall, this VRBO is a great option in Taormina. The location couldn’t be more perfect. You’re right in town but still close to the taxi stand. It was very clean and the communication before and during our stay from Ann was superb! She even helped us book private transportation from the airport and to a nearby winery. The only reason I’m leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the wifi was very spotty and the tv didn’t work. We were ok with this, but if that’s important to you I would maybe look elsewhere. Also, the second bedroom doesn’t have AC but luckily we didn’t need to use it. Overall a really great experience! I would stay here again.

Fantastic apartment

This was a fantastic apartment with everything you could possibly need and more for a 2 week stay. Ann was a god send and was on hand to answer any query or offer recommendations on sight seeing, eating out and local amenities. We fell in love with Taormina and the apartment is just off the main street. The large terrace is fantastic with great views and we are already planning on looking at renting the other larger apartment for more of us to visit. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend. We will return!

Wonderful Place in the Heart of Taormina

This place is fantastic -- beautiful building, and you can't beat the location. The unit was very clean and nicely designed. The amazing balcony has gorgeous views of the city/sea/volcano. Communication with the hosts was easy and efficient. Highly recommended.

A well-placed apartment in the heart of Taormina with stunning views from the roof terrace.

The location was excellent. The apartment was clean, cool and quiet, with a stunning roof terrace (we were able to use the whole terrace as no-one in the adjacent larger apartment). The single bedroom, however, is small and has no air-con. Not really suitable for anyone other than a young child and too hot at night in July. This needs to be made clear in the ad. Fortunately, our 16 year old able to sleep on the sofa bed in the lounge. The crockery and some of the appliances are aged (especially mugs and the toaster). They need replacing.Our contact @ Novae Dimore (Virginie) was extremely helpful in arranging transfers and tour of Etna, as was Anne England, who met us on arrival and gave us all info. Very efficient. We had a lovely stay.

Beautiful, central location. Amazing views of town, Etna and the sea.

The apartment is neat and clean, the terrace is a real joy, the furniture is comfortable and the air conditioning is a godsend on a hot day. The washing machine didn’t work, and that was the only real drawback.

Centrally located apartment with fantastic views

The apartment was perfectly placed for accessing all Taormina has to offer. We struggled to master the hot water system but other than that, everything we needed was available. Having said that I feel the apartment is overpriced - it was expensive for what it it was. The single bedroom in particular had very limited space with virtually no storage.

Fabulous appartment which couldn't have been in a better location in Taormina.

The San Domenico appartment was really lovely and in a great location. I particularly loved the terrace which offered stunning views of the sea and the hillside behind. It was a delight to have either breakfast, lunch or dinner there and especially nice to sit out in the warm evenings and have dinner as the sun was just setting. Everything was on your doorstep and within easy reach whether that be for the supermarket, ice cream, wine, designer shops, restaurants or bars - the choice was endless. Taormina is very beautiful and the flat just emphasised that. We had a great stay and an amazing holiday 😊

Amazing apartment, top notch location, very helpful hosts.

Thank you so much for this wonderful stay. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to enjoy Taormina in a more low key fashion. All the restaurants are in close proximity, 5 min walk to the Gardens. Beautiful view from the top deck.

Nice Central Location

The property was nice but didn't quite meet our expectations for view and was quite noisy at night. The local manager was outstanding in that she met us in town and helped us get settled in the apartment. During our initial meeting, she shared pamphlets and recommendations about the village of Taormina as well as some tips about Sicily tours. The apartment is quite comfortable and well equipped. Love the king size bed! The overall condition of the property was relatively standard although the kitchen pots and pans could use a refresh. The restaurant two levels below the property is quite noisy until very late hours and we recommend ear plugs and use of the portable fan to drown out noise. The upper level deck was nice but the weather didn't cooperate for spending any time enjoying the view. Again, the Mediterranean view is somewhat limited as this apartment is located behind the penthouse which has the front facing view from both their quarters and the rooftop deck. The price was reasonable and we loved the location in town for access to shops and local hikes.

Very comfortable and fully equipped in the center of Taromina

We spent 7 nights at the property, and had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. The apartment itself is lovely - there were 3 of us (including our 7 year old son) and so having a room for him was great and it was the perfect size for the 3 of us. Fully equipped - the beds were really comfortable (and the master was large) with air conditioning/heating in the main living area and the master bedroom. The shower was amazing - nice and powerful and hot. Lots of windows to allow natural light and air into the property. Wifi suitable for use with Netflix and other streaming services =D Location wise it was perfect - right next to the main pedestrian street in Taromina off which are all of the bars, cafes and shops. We were slightly concerned that being next to the main street and also right next to the church could have regular bell ringing and noise - but actually it was very quiet, and the church only occasionally rang its bells (ie not hourly). So that was great! We think we were one of the first to be in the apartment after the winter season, so it was a little stuffy and felt damp when we arrived. But we opened all the windows letting lots of air and sunlight into the property, and at night could use the aircon/de-humidifier or left the windows open when warm enough etc and this solved that problem. We didn't have a car, and the owner helped to organize a taxi to pick us up from the airport and take us to the apartment. This worked really well. The sun terrace is lovely - private space which we used every day for eating outside. Really lovely views. Without a car, we made use of the bus services - initially the City-By-See www.citybysee.com open bus tour and then the public busses to go and visit the nearby beaches and attractions. We also went on a 4x4 tour of Mount Etna with the company Go-Etna (https://www.go-etna.com/) which we highly recommend. It was an excellent half day trip that we all enjoyed. Food wise - the restaurants in Taromina are expensive, and we had mixed success with restaurants. Some were pretty poor, but others were nice. We did end up cooking in the apartment several nights which we really enjoyed - as we could eat outside and enjoy private views! The supermarket was only a few mins walk from apartment. We did find C&G Cioccolato E Gelato just a few minutes walk from the apartment which was EXCELLENT for cakes and ice creams. And also very reasonably priced. Highly recommend! Great, relaxing holiday. Thank you!

Beautiful Taormina Apartment

We stayed in this apartment for one month and found it to be a home away from home. The pictures are accurate, but truly do not capture the true beauty of the location. The convenient location of the apartment deserves six stars! The apartment was very clean and well decorated without being fussy. We loved it. The bed was comfortable and the linens provided were good quality. Cooking was easy in the well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed many meals on the terrace, with a view of the sea and Mt. Etna. Booking was easy, and many questions were quickly answered. A special thanks to Ann, who provided information about the apartment and Taormina, checked on us often, and became a friend.
