Escape to Portal Gardens, a working aromatics farm and agritourism retreat in the heart of Tampa. Guests are invited to wander our 0.8 acre grounds, featuring rows of aromatic herbs, peppers and citrus. Experience the 'Seed-to-Sip' life by harvesting fresh herbs for your morning tea or evening meal. We just planted in late December so please bear with us as we grow!!

During harvest seasons, aromatic sample pouches are provided to guests to diffuse in their room or their morning tea. Pre-paired aromatic pouches are also available for purchase.



The property also features a pavered patio area with a SALTWATER POOL and HOT TUB, covered pergola, outdoor living/dining area, and covered grill area.



The pool and outdoor areas are open access 24/7 but please be respectful of others. Outdoor areas are shared with other guests.



Hot Tub Reservations-

If you’re looking to relax, we’d love to help you get the hot tub ready! To ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy, we have a simple reservation system in place:



Booking Your Hot Tub Session



- Rate: $10 per hour (helps us cover the heating costs while also keeping our room rates low).



- Daily Requests: Please send us your preferred 1-hour time slot by 5:00 PM each day. This keeps any 1 guest from buying up all the Hot Tub time.



- Open Booking: After 5:00 PM, any guests wanting to book more than an hour can do so on a first come first serve basis.



Planning Your Dip



Because the heating controls are managed remotely via an app, a little bit of "lead time" helps ensure the water is the perfect temperature for you:



- Heat-up Time: It takes about 1 hour in the summer and 3+ hours in the winter.



- The Bonus: You only pay for your actual soak time—the heat-up time is on us!
