🏗️ Building Maintenance Notice:

This building is scheduled for upcoming painting activities beginning Monday, February 9, 2026. Your unit is scheduled for balcony painting on February 25 and door painting on February 18.



🛠️ What to Expect

Balcony Painting:

* No unit access is required

* Painters will use lifts to access balconies

* Balcony doors, windows, and furniture will be covered for protection

* Painters will not enter the unit



Door Painting:

* Painters will need to open the front door to sand, clean, prime, and paint

* Work and drying time will take approximately 2–3 hours

* The front door must remain open during this time

* Hotel staff will monitor affected units to help ensure security



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire resort and its amenities. Free parking (trailers or campers NOT allowed) comes with the reservation and a pass will be provided to the guest upon arrival at the security gate.



LAUNDRY FACILITY: Located on the 3rd level, the guest laundry with washer and dryer is next to the elevator. It is open 24 hours and coin operated. The price per load is $2 unless updated. Quarters are accepted, and cards are also accepted for payment.



The Neighborhood:

Rocky Point is comprised mostly of condos and some hotels. It's generally tourists with a few restaurants including The Pelican and the resorts bar & grill. If guests would like to swim in the ocean, they can go to Whiskey Joes around the corner (15 minute walk or 2-3 minute drive) or Ben T. Davis beach just behind Whiskey Joes (18 minute walk, 2-3 minute drive).



Getting Around:

The resort has plenty to do! With that being said, if you'd like to explore downtown Tampa, FL or St. Petersburg, we'd recommend either bringing a car or using uber/lyft!



Other Things to Note:

There is plenty to do in the area! This beautiful home is managed by Awaysis, a full service vacation rental company with 24/7 live guest support. If you have any questions or need suggestions, please just text our concierge line. Note, if you'd like to chat with a support rep, you'll have to text us requesting a call. We're available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!



Prior to booking, we ask that you review our entire listing including amenities and house rules. If you have any questions, concerns, or special requests please do not hesitate to ask!



Check-in / Check-out:

Standard check-in and check-out times are in place to allow our cleaning team to prepare every unit to our 5-star standard. Early check-in may be available upon request—just send us a message! A $50 fee may be applied if arrivals or departures interfere with cleaning.



🐜 This is Florida, so the occasional pest is common. While we regularly treat all of our homes for pests, it’s not uncommon to see pests because of the heat including cockroaches, ants, and spiders. Unfortunately, we don’t offer refunds for this, though we’re happy to come by as soon as possible if pests are spotted.



PLEASE NOTE:

- Additional supplies may be available conditionally, but we cannot guarantee anything. If you run short, there are plenty of nearby stores to purchase more supplies!



⚠️ Please be aware that certain situations beyond our control may occur, including construction or noise outside the unit, temporary closure of amenities, utility or city repairs, or other issues on neighboring properties or units. As these circumstances are beyond our control, we are unable to provide refunds for any related inconvenience.



Every reservation includes our Damage Waiver Program — you’re covered for up to $500 in accidental damage during your stay. Just relax and enjoy your trip knowing little mishaps are taken care of. (Note, this is not insurance and does not replace travel or liability insurance; this self-funded protection covering up to $500 in accidental damage to contents only. Examples included linens, towels, and wine glasses.)
