Casa Nibbana est une villa coloniale espagnole classique située sur 2/3 d'un acre de terrain paysager tropical dans la communauté résidentielle Reserva de Golf à l'Hacienda Pinilla Resort à Guanacaste.

Hacienda Pinilla a une entrĂ©e privĂ©e et habitĂ©e et est un ranch 4500 qui est situĂ© sur plus de 3 miles de plage immaculĂ©e, forĂȘt et jungle dans le nord-ouest de Guanacaste. Hacienda Pinilla est une communautĂ© fermĂ©e comprenant des zones rĂ©sidentielles, un hĂŽtel JW Marriott, le club de plage et spa privĂ© Hacienda Pinilla, un centre Ă©questre, un parcours de golf de 18 trous et des hectares de magnifiques espaces verts naturels. Casa Nibbana est situĂ© Ă  3-6 minutes en voiture de toutes les commoditĂ©s de l'Hacienda PInilla comme le Beach Club, les multiples plages de baignade / surf, le terrain de golf et le JW Marriott. Casa Nibbana est une maison à un étage avec une architecture espagnole classique avec tout le confort moderne. Il dispose d'une grande piÚce surdimensionnée avec un haut plafond aux poutres apparentes, des sols en terre cuite colombienne et une cuisine gastronomique entiÚrement équipée. De beaux objets d'art et d'antiquités se trouvent dans toute la maison.

La suite principale a sa propre salle de bain avec deux lavabos, un dressing et un lit à baldaquin king-size. Chacune des 2 chambres supplémentaires dispose d'une salle de bains privative et d'un placard. L'un offre un lit king-size à baldaquin et l'autre a 2 lits queen-size. Toutes les salles de bains sont joliment décorées avec des tuiles artisanales locales de Talavera.

La maison a une grande terrasse couverte qui crĂ©e un merveilleux refuge pour le cafĂ© du matin ou les boissons happy hour. Il a une table pleine grandeur pour manger, deux coins salons qui donnent sur l'oasis de l'arriĂšre-cour oĂč vous pourrez entendre l'ocĂ©an en arriĂšre-plan ainsi que des singes hurleurs, voir de nombreux oiseaux et de beaux papillons. La terrasse mĂšne Ă  une grande piscine privĂ©e d'eau salĂ©e et Pergola qui a un gril Ă  gaz avec une table et des siĂšges.

L'Hacienda Pinilla possÚde un centre équestre ultramoderne, un parcours de golf 18 trous Mike Young, des courts de tennis, un centre de remise en forme intérieur avec des équipements modernes. Attendez-vous à voir des singes, des iguanes et de nombreux oiseaux colorés le long des pistes cyclables et des sentiers de randonnée.

House is full mold, ants and cockroaches. It was not cleaned, appliances did not work, water stopped working, baby crib was not provided etc. We stayed 12hrs and left after host, Georgina, offered a full refund. We have NOT received our full refund. This house is uninhabitable and the host is not trustworthy. VRBO has failed to deliver the support they promise and promote.

It took over an hour of waiting at the guard shack until the property manager finally approved our entrance to the community. Upon arrival, the house smelled strongly of mildew, there were ants all over the counters, dead crabs in one of the showers, dead flies under the pillow of another bed, a lizard was under the sheets of one of the guest bedrooms and a scorpion on the floor of another guest bedroom. The master bath was very poorly lit, the floors need to be replaced throughout, cabinets and the kitchen plates and glassware were covered in layers of dust. All of the toilets were dirty and the living room was very hot and humid. I did not realize that we needed to request air conditioning for the common living area (other than bedrooms) which cost extra.

House met our families requirements, but needed some maintenance and better cleaning. Pool was great and Beach Club access was very nice. There were exposed electrical outlets and a light the was hanging from the ceiling. There were racoons that appeared to be living in the roof and had made a hole in the side of the house. This is the second VRBO property we have stayed that need some TLC. We will not use VRBO again.

Lovely, but read the fine print

Casa Nibbana was a lovely property, however there were several unexpected details that we discovered upon arrival. This may be a VRBO problem more than a problem with this particular property, but when reviewing the listing, underneath the first heading "Popular Amenities" it shows a few false listings when the link opens up and reads "Property Amenities" (Hot Tub, Air Conditioning, Bicycles, Boogie Boards & 3 min walk to golf course). At the very bottom of the property listing, under "Amenities" it also shows a glimpse of the amenities including "hot tub and air conditioning" and then if you click "see all 94 amenities" a new page opens up that is actually the correct listing for the property. Because we read the first list and only the preview of the "all 94 amenities list" we missed some crucial elements that did impact our stay. 1. Thinking we would have bikes available, we opted not to rent a car or golf cart. Once we arrived it was too late to get a golf cart rental (which would have been a HUGE asset to have when getting to the beaches within the property). 2.Boogie boards on property were broken and unusable. Georgina did replace them, but by the time we received them we had already had to pay to rent them at the beach club for two days. There are 4 now and they're in great shape!3. Family and friends Costa Rica Adventure

This property is beautiful and the Hacienda Pinilla complex is gorgeous. We loved the house and it's grounds. There are a few details that could make it outstanding, like a new grill, stove-top, and cookware. Otherwise it was fantastic and we would definitely recommend it.Georgia was responsive to our needs.

Listing needs some updating

Our family stayed at this house from 12/25 to 1/1. The house is pretty much as described, but when you get there, is very dark. Dark wood, paint colors and overgrown vegetation around the house are a lot. Wifi was out for the first day and cell service in the area is poor. The pool is nice and the chairs around it are comfortable. There is a family of Howler monkeys that live in the neighboring trees, which was fun. The beach club that guests can use is nice also. About a 5 minute drive from the house it is easy to get to. Plenty of chairs around the property and good beach access. The food at the two restaurants is decent. Overall, we would say good, not great.

So Very Beautiful

The location and property are absolutely stunning. We read several of the reviews and they were extremely helpful. We rented a car and had them deliver it to the house. Highly recommend! Driving is an experience. We used TPV for the excursions. They were amazing. See the waterfall that takes you on a little bit of a hike. You will not regret it. Wear old tennis shoes. Not water shoes. These guys also stopped at some amazing restaurants! Our only suggestions for improvements
the master bedroom bed gives a whole new take on the word firm. And it could do for some new pillows. Also, in one of our rooms the very cool bathroom outdoor shower did not work the whole trip. That was a bummer. But overall definitely

Great for families and friends!

We weren't able to stay very long at the house but all 12 of us really enjoyed our time! The house was beautiful and spacious. The pool was nice and private. There was plenty of seating space outside and with a BBQ, you can't beat it! Nice and close to the Hacienda Beach Club and also the beach was only about 6min away driving. Can't wait to go back.

Wonderful Property

We stayed at Casa Nibbana with our 5 grown children for my retirement trip to Costa Rica. The house was wonderful - it was well stocked and had plenty of space for 7 grown adults plus the backyard and pool are AMAZING. The owners are extremely helpful, very easy to work with and have great suggestions for things to do while there. The community that the house is in is incredible and offers a wide variety of activities. We golfed, rode horses, swam at the beach club, and spent time on the beach without ever having to leave the Hacienda Pinilla community. Tamarindo is only about 30 minutes away and is a super cute beach / surf town with lots of great restaurants and shopping. We loved out stay here.

Okay

The house is beautiful and well laid out for a large family. Very difficult to get through the guard house. I asked for early check-in which Georgina said would not be a problem. Arrived at 3:00 and guards would not let us in. Stayed at the gate for 30 minutes until they could confirm our reservation. Also, there is a lot of construction and noise surrounding the house and throughout the Hacienda. Road is right next to the house so construction trucks going by. The Beach Club is wonderful. We loved our swimming day and our dinner at the Club.

Week stay at Casa Nibbana - July 2023

Our stay at Casa Nibbana was overall enjoyable. The bedrooms were nicely appointed and kept us cool during the hot nights we vacationed there. The pool was fabulous. However, there were a few hiccups during our stay! First of all, I had major issues getting drivers I had hired directly into Hacienda Pinilla. This struck me as “odd” since this was my 5th visit to the property and I had never encountered this issue during prior visits. Having to communicate directly with the Property Manager (PM) or her team was very inefficient at times resulting drivers being detained and making us late for scheduled activities because the front gate had not been informed by the PM of our requests (the information had been sent to the PM the day before). When, I discussed these instances with the PM I was told that if I used her “pre-approved services” I would not have had these issues? However, on day one when I spoke with the front gate security guard, he informed me that if the PM would give me authorization to communicate directly with them the Guards would allow entry of our scheduled drivers without having to go through the PM? A/C didn't work when asked to have it turned on. Trash can had no lid and birds made a mess, so had to put it back in garage. Grill ran out of gas. Minimal glass wine/champagne stemware and wine opener was broken. Some outdoor furniture was broken, so had to use rocks to level them. Zero personal contact with PM and we won't stay at another property they manage.

A piece of Heaven in Costa Rica

This house was amazing!! Very clean and had everything we needed. The management was excellent with helping us set up a chef one night and buying our groceries before we got there. The beach club is a great place to enjoy a big pool and beautiful beach with bar. The location was about 20 minutes from Tamarindo. Overall a wonderful experience!!!!

Blessing Trip 2023

We had the best time in Costa Rica. The house was amazing and well equipped if you chose to cook. We made meals and grilled hamburgers July 4th. Georgina was amazing and answered all our questions. The pool was used daily, either by just relaxing or cooling off after a day of being out in the sun. Lots of good information on tours (TVP tours was awesome), private chef coming to cook for you at the house. We used Lila - Casina Lila and so good. Also, we had groceries at the house when we arrived which was nice after traveling all day. The house was clean, and had everything we needed and more! Would definitely stay here again. There were 6 adults and plenty of room for everyone! Made our Blessing trip amazing.

So Much Fun Had by All

Casa Nibbana was perfect for our active family (which includes two teenagers) in terms of its design, comfort, privacy and security and its overall proximity to so much. The home was designed to give everyone their own space but then bring them together in the beautiful great room and outdoor areas. The pool was the perfect temperature to hang out in and was used more than I thought it would be--pool guy did great job of cleaning it daily of vegetation. We grilled two nights wanting to stay in to enjoy our wonderful home (kitchen was well-equipped to cook in) and the remainder evenings we took the homeowner's recommendation and went to Avellana, eating at Lola's two nights and Il Rustico the other--the homeowner's book in house was very helpful. Be prepared for dirt roads for the trip to Avellana and if you go down to Playa Langosta--both recommended by the homeowner and well worth the trips. Each morning, we drove the 20 to 25 minute drive for my daughter to surf in Tamarindo while we walked the beach and then ate breakfast. By afternoon, we were on the golf course playing nine holes. Golf course was brown in April but was still fun and uncrowded. We look forward to returning in the future.

Comfort, beauty and location

My extended family has been fortunate enough to share many vacations together in rental homes. I count Casa Nibbana as probably the very best property. Not only is it absolutely beautiful, it has a level of comfort and convenience that is unparalleled. Three family "pods" found privacy and peace within the home. The home is spacious and wonderfully designed and furnished. The landscaping and pool are gorgeous and positioned to provide shade and cool retreats during the hottest weather. We range from 4- to 72- years old, and each individual managed to find their own space apart, and beautifully functional and attractive situations all together. I can't say enough about the place itself, it is secure and close to everything we could have hoped to enjoy... beaches, horseback riding, mountain biking, surfing, golf, charming little towns, great restaurants, etc. A real bonus is the access to the Beach Club on property, with great food and hospitality featuring a great pool, easy access to the beach, and a rental shop for boards and surf toys. Live music on Friday night was also very nice. Speaking of appointments, the house itself offers a great many toys for guests to enjoy, including bikes, golf clubs, floaties, etc. A wonderful visit and we would all sincerely love to return in the future.

Family vacation

Our stay was amazing! Georgina was a pleasure to work with and responded to all our questions/needs in a timely manner. Because of our late arrival, she even had our kitchen stocked with the groceries we requested. The home was everything we were hoping for-lovely, clean, well stocked and met our family’s needs. We especially loved the outside area. The kids swam nonstop in the pool while the adults enjoyed their morning coffee and afternoon happy hour on the covered patio. Should you be looking for a tour guide, Doug from TPV tours was amazing. He is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and friendly. He went all out to make our adventures memorable! Great House at Hacienda Pinilla

Casa Nibbana is a beautiful house and its location was perfect for us. Hacienda Pinilla is about 30min from the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo Beach. It offers beautiful beaches, a golf course, and great walking trails. The house is beautiful and the outdoor space with a lovely pool and shaded deck is perfect for spending time outdoors. The beautifully appointed rooms inside provided lots of space for the 5 of us. Georgina provided us with lots of information about the Casa itself as well as great restaurant and shopping tips.

Love Costa Rica

This is a lovely property convenient to all that CR has to offer to vacationers. The house is very nice. The kitchen needs some updating. Pots and pans specifically designed to use on the glass cooktop would have made cookin easier. The kitchen knives need to be replaced or at the least sharpened. Dull knives are actually dangerous. Otherwise the kitchen is well stocked will dishes and bakeware. We enjoy cooking together as a family so the big space was wonderful. The dining room was enormous and a great place to eat and play games at night. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and the ac worked great keeping us cool at night. The mattresses, pillows and linens need to be updated. The outdoor patio was our favorite place for morning coffee and plan making.. The pool is sparkling clean and refreshing. It’s a beautiful outdoor space., just watch out for falling coconuts! Overall, this is a great house and made our family very happy on our Costa Rican holiday!

CR Getaway

Beautiful house, pictures were very accurate. The backyard was nicely shaded and the pool was refreshing. Where many high-end property rentals fall short, so did this one. The mattresses, comfort of the furniture, bathroom towels and bed linens did not match the level of the house itself. When on vacation, we like to sleep well, sink into comfortable furniture and have cushy towels, unfortunately this was a miss. Again, the house itself, the community and backyard was fantastic. One more item that could have been coordinated better. On our last morning the gardeners woke us up with leaf blowers (fairly early) and we were not able to use the backyard for the entire morning. That detail should have been caught by the host. The beaches near are beautiful, they made our stay!
