When I arrived there was no key in the lock box. There is little to no cell service at the property so I was able to drive back up to the top of the property and contact VACASA. I spoke with a gentleman named George, he was great. Unfortunately, there was nobody local to talk to so I had to wait via text back-and-forth with George to see what was going on. I asked if there was a local number I could talk with and he said no. Long story short I waited 2 1/2 hours in complete darkness because there is no light upon upon arrival, anywhere on the property. Then a little black car with two men got out. Not knowing who they were was a little starling. But thank goodness they were extremely nice and were the locksmith that George had called. Terrible communication.Once inside the property there was a welcome folder stating start the fire in the wood stove for most of the warmth. There were supposed to be fire starters next to it, not only were there are no fire starters. There was no lighter or matches anywhere. I was able to find a lighter in my car along with a roll of paper towels to try to start the fire. Could not find a vent anywhere on the fireplace. Finally, at the very back of the fireplace was an attached fan that needed to be plugged in. None of this was in the manual. After I ran out of paper towels, there was no way to start the fire.When I opened up the dishwasher, there was chunks of stuff still in the dishwasher. There also was no WiFi, amongst other issues.
