This newly-renovated modern mountain chalet is close to Winter Park skiing, Granby lakes, and Rocky Mountain National Park! Enjoy 270-degree mountain views from inside or on the wrap-around deck with lots of seating, grill, and gorgeous views overlooking the Continental Divide and views of Longs Peak. Stay warm inside with a wood-burning fireplace, indoor hot tub, and sauna. Filled with natural light, high ceilings, plants, and art from local Colorado artists, this home is the perfect mountain get-away. Great location (15 min to Winter Park ski resort, 15 min to Granby) all while being secluded on 3 acres in a welcoming upscale neighborhood in the hills. Snow tires/4wd required in Winter.

The Space
The primary bedroom includes an en suite bath with double vanity, king tempurpedic bed and a private deck. Guest bedroom 1 has a king bed and work station and the lofted guest bedroom 2 has a queen bed and desk work station. The two upstairs guest bedrooms share an oversized bathroom. The main-floor guest bedroom has a double bunk bed with a twin top and a twin pull-out trundle bed. There’s a full bath just outside the bedroom. Brand new (January 2026) washer and dryer are on the second floor near the guest bedrooms.

The main floor is an open concept kitchen / dining / living room with vaulted 30' ceilings in the main room with the fireplace, 55” Smart TV and vinyl record set up. Our record collection is limited so bring some of your favorite tunes with you, or if you're more into wireless speakers, virtually plug into our Sonos system.

Our chef's grade kitchen got a big upgrade (February 2022) including a 5-panel induction cook top, a new induction oven (January 2026) and oversized refrigerator including a beer fridge for keeping the beverages ready to go. The custom-built floating shelves are adorn with a range of plants and objects collected from our travels to over 85 countries and we have a cabinet full of games to keep everyone engaged and having fun.

The sauna is off of the hot-tub room where the indoor hot tub is ready for your arrival. The entrance is near the two-car garage which has a 220-v Tesla electric charger for quick charging and keeping your vehicle/s out of the snow.

Extra awesome last note: we have great wifi for the mountains (best you will find) - Starlink. The connection here is faster than our place in Denver!

Guest access
You'll let yourself in and out with a key pad on the front door. We do use video for security reasons, so if you plan to have pets and/or more than the 8 person limit, please let us know ahead so we can avoid awkward conversations.

Other things to note
There's no place to note that there is a 3-person sauna which is our favorite thing to do after a long day of skiing or even a short hike. Please make sure to rinse off before using the hot tub or the sauna, and explain to the kiddos that peeing in the hot tub requires a full water replacement which takes time to reheat which means time away from hot tubbing! (and costs the guest a $100 fee to have our hot tub company come clean it).

We are pet-friendly but given the additional cleaning required and potential for damages, we charge a $100 pet fee that is passed along to the cleaners. Also, please let us know in advance if you plan to travel with pets as we will need to confirm the additional deep clean is available on your departure date. License #GCSTR25-105873

We had a great stay at this beautiful home for our annual ski outing. Avery was most helpful to ensure that our stay was a great one. The views of the Rocky Mountains and the continental divide are spectacular and some the best in the country. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay up in the mountains. There were some challenges with the oven and hot tub. But Avery, the host was quick to respond and communicated very well. The location is gorgeous and provides a really nice surrounding to sit around the fire, play games, and spend time with friends.

First time VRBO customer here, might I say this was a FANTASTIC experience for my first time ever using a platform like this. The instructions on getting to the property, inside the property, and the amenities it had to offer was truly 5 star. There was a minor hiccup with the WiFi which was totally technical, however when I referenced the, “Contact Us” section to get guidance on trouble shooting the issue, they were responsive within the minute. Additionally, the location is absolutely stunning. If I were someone contemplating between this property and another, I would hands down choose this one. Not because of the stunning house or views, rather because of the people who own and manage the property. They were attentive to a level you rarely get at a chain hotel now. 10/10 experience, if I could do better than 5 stars I totally would.

Family Christmas

This home was perfect for our little family Christmas. I felt the location was perfectly placed between Winter Park and Granby. Everything you need is within 15 minutes but the home has unobstructed nature and mountain views. It was nice being able to take advantage of the fireplace and hot tub. The rooms were good sized and bathrooms were toasty warm. We are super grateful the home is pet friendly. Also, being able to park in the garage is a huge plus!

As Advertised - Great Mountain Get Away

Great location and great time. I saw a comment indicating that maybe there was some paint or other touch ups needed but this is what it's advertised as. A great secluded location in the mountains with wonderful amenities. The family LOVED the hot tub and sauna and the views are amazing. Wood provided for the fireplace. Appreciated the garage with the snow we had. A hallway light was dim but hey these are pretty trivial things in an overall great experience with wonderful views. Kitchen was well stocked and all was as advertised.

Photos don’t tell the whole story-but comfortable enough

This house needs some TLC. Lots of bad lighting, bulbs out or flickering. Weird set ups, random holes in doors and in the floor. Things seem cobbled together, furniture very worn and even torn, not a lot of comfortable seating. The garage is filthy, garbage disposal is broken or has something stuck in it.BUT: You can park in the garage. The fireplace works. The hot tub works. The TV has lots of subscriptions. There are a lot of bedrooms (two open to the living room ceiling, so that’s weird), the appliances were new, lots of kitchenware (very few wine glasses though!) and its dog-friendly. And the views are awesome.I MIGHT stay here again-with friends who don’t care too much about having to “make do.” The amenities kind of made all the wear and tear ok.

Wonderful experience

We really enjoyed the house. Avery has everything set up perfectly and the property is as advertised. The area around the house had great summer experiences including golf, kayaking, hiking & white water rafting. Great fun for all.

Amazing views!

The house was just as pictured and the views were amazing! There is everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms, plus thoughtful extras as well. We enjoyed the fireplace, even in the middle of summer. Avery is an attentive and gracious host. We’ll definitely be back!

Breathtaking views

Well first off, the host, Avery, was AMAZING!!! She was on top of everything, kind and quick to respond. The views are unlike anything I’ve ever seen before ♄ We enjoyed having a fire in the evenings while listening to the rain and having coffee on the amazing wrap around porch!!! I highly recommend renting this place and any place Avery is a host for !!! 5 stars all the way 💗💜💗

Wonderful mountain house!

We loved spending a weekend at this house and wish we could have had more time! It has a spectacular view of mountains and is secluded. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, and the living room is fun to hang out in. The one downside is the driveway, which can be a little difficult in the winter. You'll definitely need snow tires or a 4wd car!

Colorado Getaway

We had a great time staying at this property. It was clean plenty of room for the kids to play. The humming bird feeder was a huge it with all age groups. It has a beautiful view and a nice balcony to watch the sunrise and the hummingbirds. Had a nice kitchen and dining table. We would stay there again if we were in the area.
