AM Suite with Terrace is a comfortable one-bedroom apartment located in a lively area of Ortigia island, right behind the daily street market, which fills the neighborhood with scents, colors, and flavors.



The recently renovated house is very rich in detail and tastefully furnished. Located on the second floor, it consists of a living area (which faces almost directly onto the market) with a kitchen, a double bedroom, a bathroom, and an equipped terrace outside the flat, but for the exclusive use of guests, ideal for meals and aperitifs in the open air. Presence of narrow stairs.

The sleeping area, which does not overlook the market, is quiet and cozy.

The house has all the comforts to make you feel at home even on vacation: you will find TV, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a washing machine, and much more.



The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parking and enjoying the old town on foot.

For lovers of relaxation and the sea, eastern Sicily and the area surrounding Syracuse offer everything one could wish for. Starting from the ancient Greek city and heading south, the best-equipped and most beautiful beaches to explore are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella, and Fontane Bianche, whose name derives from the natural freshwater springs and the particular white color of the sand. On the island of Ortigia, you will also find equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a small free beach called Cala Rossa. Further south, some 30 km away, we find some beautiful unspoiled and inaccessible beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its Natural Fauna Oasis, and the beautiful San Lorenzo. For culture enthusiasts, the Greek theatre of Syracuse and the entire archaeological park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi museum, and the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself with its historical and cultural beauty as well as its landscape, are worth a visit. Not to be overlooked is Noto, the seafront with the tuna fishery of Avola, and finally the seaside village of Marzamemi. In short, Sicily is a land to explore and its natural and cultural beauties are treasures to fill your eyes with.



The airport of Catania Fontanarossa is about 60 kms far away, while “Comiso Pio la Torre” airport is 110 kms far. The train station of Siracusa is 1 km far from Ortigia, as well as the interbus station connected with the airports.
