Cutest Cottage

The Surf Shack was adorable! The decor was so beach like but tasteful. It is perfect for a small family or a couple. Cooking was minimal, but we were able to use the utensils there for the night we cooked. Beds were great. Location was perfect for a quick walk to beach or a short drive to the restaurants. No complaints; only compliments! Suggestions: more or larger towels; mat on inside of door to keep sand to a minimal

Great property. Cute decorations. Beds could be a little less squeeky. And the directions to find the place say the house is between 10th and 11th streets, but it should say 11th and 12th Streets.

Surftastic!

We booked the Surf Shack for a long weekend family getaway after Christmas, and we loved it! The house is very convenient to the beach and close to tons of dining options. The house was clean and very modern compared to other places we’ve stayed when visiting Myrtle Beach. We woke up every morning and walked right across the street to the beach entrance. The house felt private and secure.

Would recommend!!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at The Surf Shack! When we arrived everything was just as listed and very clean. The house is in a very good/quiet neighborhood and is literally just steps away from the beach. Angie was great to communicate with (especially since we had to completely reschedule our vacation) she was very helpful and always very quick to respond. Overall we loved our time and we hope to visit again soon!

Perfect Stay at the Surf Shack in Surfside Beach!

We had a fantastic stay at the Surf Shack in Surfside Beach, South Carolina! The property was exactly as shown in the photos, and finding it was a breeze. The location couldn't be better—just a short walk across the street to public beach access, which was so convenient for us, especially with two little ones under 3 and me being 30 weeks pregnant. The house was perfect for our family of four, offering just the right amount of space for us to relax comfortably. The host was incredibly responsive and sweet, making our stay even more enjoyable. We had no issues at all during our time there, and we’re already planning a return visit sometime next year. Highly recommend the Surf Shack for a beach getaway!

Great stay

Such a quaint property. We loved how it was tucked away and private. This house was the perfect size for our family. The access to the beach is super easy and a very short walk. Also, very short drive for groceries or extra fun things you may need...like Duck Donuts. Would very much recommend this property.

Adorable private house steps from beach

This place was perfect for my children and I. It was across from the beach and a very short walk. It was very comfortable and very nicely decorated. It was a 5 minute or less drive to ice cream and coffee shops, grocery stores and restaurants. Would def stay here again. And the host has incredible communicate. Highly recommend!

Perfect Hideaway

We had a wonderful stay! The place is absolutely adorable - so beachy, modern and impeccably decorated. The location was wonderful. We had our two children with us and it was such an easy walk to and from the beach. We normally stay in the North Myrtle Beach area but we fell in love with this mich family-friendlier beach area. The owner was so wonderful to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again!

This property is an absolute treasure. Property is exactly as pictured! It’s perfect! 5 stars for cleanliness. Parking is super convenient with the long driveway. Beach access is literally steps away. The host provided beach chairs that we completely forgot to bring and replied in a super timely fashion! Reviews and photos do not do this home justice . It’s truly one of a kind with extraordinary paintings and murals across each room. This place is immaculate and will definitely be the new vacation spot!

We had a fantastic stay at the surf shack. The owners reached out and did a great job assisting us with any and all our needs. Renting from them had a more personal feel and that we really loved. We normally always rent from dunes or garden city reality but nothing compares to this stay. We are so very thankful we found this little gem ❀
