Guests have access to the entire property as advertised. Keyless door lock with access code sent with check-in instructions at least 3 days prior to arrival.

A LITTLE ABOUT THE SPACE:
Welcome to your breezy beach retreat at "Under the Pier" in Surfside Beach! This fully renovated 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom townhouse is the perfect blend of comfort and coastal charm, just two blocks from the ocean. Hop in the complimentary golf cart and cruise over to the nearby 3rd Avenue beach access—or stroll there in minutes with the sea breeze in your hair. Inside, you’ll find a bright, open-concept living area with vaulted ceilings, cozy seating, and a big-screen smart TV over the shiplap-accented fireplace—ideal for movie nights after a day in the sun. The kitchen is a total showstopper with sleek quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a dedicated coffee bar complete with French Press, drip coffee, a Keurig and Nespresso machine. We provide a starter set of coffee/pods! The dining area is sunlit and inviting, tucked just off the kitchen and designed for easy, laid-back meals with family or friends. It features a round white dining table with seating for four and is set right beside a big window that lets in plenty of natural light—perfect for sipping coffee in the morning sunshine or enjoying a cozy dinner after a beach day.
The primary bedroom is conveniently located downstairs and features a plush king bed, tons of storage, a smart TV, and a beautifully updated bathroom with a walk-in tile shower. Upstairs, you’ll find two more bedrooms, including a bunk room with a TWIN size mattress on the bottom and TWIN on top that kids (and kids-at-heart) will love —with its own balcony for soaking up the salty air. There is also a tucked away TWIN TRUNDLE BED under the bunk bed for a 3rd person in the bunk room. A walk through the bunk room takes you to a bonus loft space which offers even more hangout room or can be used as a 3rd bedroom, complete with another smart TV, a SINGLE "DAY BED" (which can be used as a sofa or a single twin bed ), games, and extra space to spread out.
Out back, your private patio oasis awaits with comfy seating, a gas grill, string lights, baby pool, sand box and splash pad for kids, and a perfectly chill vibe for unwinding after a beach day. Whether you're here to sunbathe, explore the pier, or sample local seafood favorites like Bubba’s Fish Shack or Gracious Pig, this is Surfside Beach living at its absolute best.

TRANSIT INFORMATION:🚗
It is recommended to have a car but if you don't you can meet most of your needs, use the complimentary golf cart on secondary roads only, walking, or catching a cab, Uber or Lyft.

It is expected that the guest will return the property and all that is included, in the same condition in which it is received besides needing a regular cleaning and linen service. Excessive cleaning and damages will result in extra fees.

*Our cleaning fee includes: Standard cleaning upon departure from regular use up to 14 day stay, all bed linens with the beds made upon arrival, bath towels, STARTER PACK of paper products/dish soaps/sponges/kitchen towels, basic cooking staples, and outdoor cleaning.

*While the property is pet friendly there are some guidelines for pets:
1. Maximum of 2 pets 60lbs and under only, no aggressive breeds allowed
2. Pets must be fully house trained (incontinence, behavioral) and crated when left alone, you provide the crate
3. Pets must be treated for fleas within two weeks of stay and be vaccinated for Rabies
4. Pet Fee of $20 per pet, per day is non-refundable and is NOT an 'extra cleaning fee'. (this fee is flexible for stays longer than 13 nights... please inquire) You remove all pet hair, waste before departing. NOTE: This fee is included in your rate with Airbnb and VRBO IF YOU INDICATE YOU HAVE A PET IN THE PROCESS OF BOOKING. This is not included in other platforms or our direct booking site and will be billed after booking.
5. Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds, bring a bed or blanket for them to sit and sleep on

You must also be flexible to allow our staff entry into the home for approximately 1-2 hours to perform regular cleaning tasks each time. We will coordinate the schedule directly with you. Please also note that this price does not include linen service but that service is available for an additional cost. Please inquire. Beautiful home! We very much enjoyed our stay and were comfortable. We loved the back fenced patio for relaxing in the morning and evening with our dogs. It made me wish we had children who could have enjoyed the sandbox and childs kitchen that were provided. Everything is in short walking distance i.e. beach and food BUT the golf cart is a plus for getting there as well. 5 Star Stay staff so friendly and responsive.

This was the perfect place for us and our dog! Close to the beach, restaurants, and the park. Loved having the golf cart and all the extras at this property- dog bowls, plenty of complimentary coffee and tea! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It’s a beautiful updated property. Kudos to the owners/decorators. We were very impressed and pleased! Would definitely choose this property again.
