"Gnozo Palazzo" 6 Bedroom, 6.5 Bathroom Oceanfront Home with Pool!

"Gonzo Palazzo" a stunning oceanfront haven boasting an inverted floorplan, 6 bedroom, and 5.5 bathroom.! Located on the popular West End of Holden Beach in the Gated Community. With breathtaking ocean views and a vibrant beachy ambiance, this home is designed for relaxation and fun, complete with a spacious secondary living area, a pool table, and pool area where you can soak up the sun or retreat to the serene sounds of the ocean.

Take the elevator up and step out to find 5 comfortable bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, laundry room, and secondary living area on the main floor of the home. Bedroom #1 is the perfect space for the littles with a queen / queen bunk bed (sleeps 4), bedroom #2 offers a full size bed and semi-private bathroom shared with bedroom #1. On the oceanside of the 1st floor you will find 3 more bedrooms! Bedroom #3 features two queen beds and private bathroom. Bedroom #4 offers a king bed with private bathroom. Bedroom #5 features 2 queen beds as well as a private bathroom. Everyone is sure to be well rested as these are all NEW mattresses for 2024!

Head upstairs to be welcomed by a beautifully designed open floor plan that exudes warmth. The well-equipped kitchen is a culinary haven that will inspire the family chef, making it a delight to create meals and snacks for everyone to enjoy. The living room boasts an oversized sectional sofa, perfect for gathering together for cozy movie nights or engaging in friendly competition over a game of pool. The pool filter was not working for months according to the pool cleaner who came while we were there. The pool was disgusting. It had stuff in it and even after a really good cleaning by the company, there was a constant film on the surface of the water. There were two filters that I’ve listed as a requirement for the property search whenever I looked for a place and a pool was one of the requirements. We did not use the pool because it was so disgusting the entire time. Huge disappointment I messaged the property manager and never got a response except the pool company came and said yes they know this. It’s been an issue for a long time. There were bathroom doors that did not close nor lock. I had to prop them closed with trash cans. We found a rat in one of the outdoor closets on the parking floor while we were looking for pool toys. The basketball goal outdoors was not working. You couldn’t make it stay up because it’s rusted and broken. We had purchased a basketball for that reason to use there, but we didn’t get to use it because the goal wouldn’t stay up. The outdoor shower area was disgusting and had not been cleaned in a long time. It has a lot of bedrooms that sleeps many people and a lot of bathrooms. That was nice. It is a beautiful view. The outdoor furniture could use some updating. There was trash out by the pool area and the walkway to the beach. We did clean that up as we went. I would definitely not stay in this house again nor recommended anyone else.

Beautiful home, fabulous layout of bedrooms with access to bathrooms. Spectacular location with beach on one side and intracoastal waterway on the other. Inside gated West End, so beaches were not crowded. Unfortunately a potential 5star property except that poor attention to a lot of details, that could be fixed easily. When arrived at 4 for check in, cleaners were still there, they were lovely and stayed until nearly 5:30, but floors were still sandy and lots of crumbs and dirt under furniture. Apparently previous renters “had left a mess”. Pool furniture in complete disarray and trash on the dunes along the boardwalk. All trash cans overflowing as they had not been put out for pickup. Stove malfunctioned, but quick response from maintenance. The only tv that we ever got to work was in the main living room. Maintenance had to replace breaker in sitting room on second floor to get power to it, but still unable to get tvs to work, told that we needed a code from the owners. None of the remotes had batteries, we replaced them but still could not get tvs to work. Not all pots would work on the stove. Pool lights did not work and several spotlights were out. It would have been extremely helpful to have a booklet explaining how electronics worked (what tv streaming app had a subscription, to save renters time from trying them all) and to better label all the light, fan, switches etc.- including that there was a switch that had to be turned on to make the dishwasher work.
