The lake view and easy access were the best part of our stayâunfortunately, thatâs where the positives end.The house is large but very dated, poorly maintained, and not cleaned to an acceptable standard given the high cleaning fee. We found dust throughout and dirty appliances, including leftover food in the refrigerator/freezer. The ice dispenser buttons were broken, the water filter needed replacing, and the coffee maker took 30 minutes to brew.We also had safety/maintenance concerns: the game room sliding door wouldnât close or lock (a piece of wood was used as a barrier), and the front-room flooring was shifting and felt like a tripping hazard.All bath towels and washcloths were dingy and stained, which is hard to accept given the high cleaning fee.The listing advertises 7 bedrooms, but we counted only 6 usable bedrooms; a sunroom is presented as a bedroom and shares a Jack-and-Jill bath with a second master. The master and queen rooms were fine, but several other rooms were small and lacking (some without TVs/windows). The lower-level bunks were especially uncomfortable, with bottom mattresses on the floor. Entertainment was disappointing: only two of five TVs worked, and only after the internet was restored. The internet went down soon after check-in and was out for most of our 3-night stay. We notified the owner right away, but action was delayed and no compensation was offered. Overall, despite the view, lack of cleanliness, property maintenace,I wouldn't stay again
