This property was amazing and perfect for our stay! We needed a home base while doing an apartment search for our sons in the local area. The location is very central to all of Silicon Valley. The house is very neat, clean and modern. Is also in a great neighborhood. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank You!

Great stay

Nice, updated, clean. I had some trouble checking in, but was able to reach the property manager and get it sorted out. Pleasant stay, good beds. I’d have liked there to be more blankets for the beds, but it was fine.

Business trip disappointment

Before we even got there we had to go through an "onboard" process from the property management and were required to purchase an insurance policy. If we could have canceled then we would have. The home was clean but the pictures made it look bigger and better than it was. Furniture and beds were very uncomfortable. The open shower just gets water EVERYWHERE and is a pain to clean it all up. Management did let us bring our own BBQ since one was not provided. The kitchen is not stocked with even the bare essentials. There was no salt and pepper, no foil or plastic bags/wrap, cookware was very sparse etc. Needless to say we will not be renting from the management company or the home itself again.

Communication is a nightmare - getting refund is a challenge

The place was ok, kitchen cabinets were dirty, found dead cockroaches in the bathroom drawers, live cockroaches were found in one of the bedrooms. Communications with the host was absolutely terrible. I could never got a straight answer. Getting a refund more than 2 months later was absolutely unacceptable and if I had not contacted the host and pushed for the answer, I would have never gotten any refund at all. The cancellation request was made Jul 21, Vrbo refunded their fee on Jul 22. I got an email from the MARBELLA LANE property mgt on Sept 1 that the refund process would be completed in 10 days. Sept 29, I was calling them and exchanging text messages all day since early afternoon and was told that the refund was already processed all along even though nothing showed up in my account. This evening, I finally got the refund back to my account. Super unprofessional and shady.

Would not recommend this host

The stay itself is ok - the host itself was the issue. Cancellation was made in Jul and Vrbo refunded their fee the next day. More than two months later, I still didn't received the refund (large amount as the original stay was for 3 weeks). I got an email from them on Sept 1 that the refund would be back within 10 days. It's the end of Sept, contacting the host did not give me any direct response either. I was told it was processed and refunded after calling them and exchanging text messages the whole day today. Just an hour ago, I got the full amount back to my account. If I had not contacted them and pushed for a long over due refund, I would never have received the money from this host at all. The communications were as broken as pile of broken glass, super painful. Phone system was bad as couldn't hear the agent well and there's always a delay so the conversation was overlapped. I could never get a straight answer on the first call. Always have to wait for the person to talk to the team to get us the answer. Extremely frustrated with the host and the property mgt team. Super inefficient and unorganized. Please be careful when booking at one of their places. It's the worst host I have ever had to deal with.

Could have been better

Overall, the place is decent to stay but there were quite a few issues popped up. 1) The check-in web portal did not work. For both stays, we had to wait for more than 30 mins to get the code 2) The TV remote control was missing. The property mgt team addressed the issue but did not advise on the ETA of control. 3) Kitchen cabinets were not clean. There were dirty spots in several places. 3) There were cockroaches in the house. It took the mgt team days to addressed the issue. 4) Communication was a challenge since it was thru the property mgt team. Every time we called to follow up the issue, we had to explain everything all over again as it would be a different person we talked to. 5) A large package arrived at front door one day and we had no in advance notice whatsoever.

The property was in a convenient location. It was clean and had everything we needed. It would have been nice to have outdoor furniture, a table or dresser for luggage in the smaller bedrooms, and there was an issue with the king-sized bed not properly assembled.

Nice home in Sunnyvale

This home provides a great place for a family to stay comfortably. The open concept living area includes comfortable furniture, a cute dining table and a kitchen which is spacious enough for meal prep. Appliances are new and kitchen prep basics (knives, few pots, etc) are present. Note: front bedroom has 2 steps down and 2 steps up to adjoining bathroom; rest of house is without stairs. Beds are comfortable. Everything was very clean. I was a bit puzzled by the additional (long) contract that was required besides the VRBO agreement. Has a nice little patio-would recommend owners add bit of outdoor furniture to the home.
