Excellent location right on the water, beach access was amazing even in the winter. Spa amenities were nice and relaxing with a gorgeous view. Only downside was the outdoor hot-tub is seasonal which is not specified in the listing. Otherwise very much enjoyed our stay.

Spectacular property; best possible view of Cadillac Mountain. Well equipped kitchen and very comfortable seating in front of “fireplace” and large screen tv. Mattress’ were clean and plush, pillows were fluffy. We are elderly so stairs and steps to different levels were a bit challenging. Sturdy stairway to wonderful beach especially for dogs; hose to rinse them off and large porch to contain them until they were dry. Lawn has netting to stabilize soil; I worried about toes of people and pups setting caught but that was the only concern! We didn’t try the spa but it looks wonderful.

I ended up being sick during our stay and this was such a beautiful place to convalesce. The views are spectacular, the bed is very comfortable, and the bathtub is a dream. We’re planning our next visit.

Loved every minute and wish we could just live here! Everything about the house was just perfect-everything worked, uber clean, stylishly decorated, grounds well maintained. Loved the sauna with ocean view!Minor quibbles: IMO hosts should always provide coffee. there was some old coffee left over from the previous guest-enough for one morning-but if it wasn't there we'd have needed to go to the store right away. It's nice to have a Nespresso machine-we have one at home-but impossible to buy at any retail store. Wish at this price point Nespresso capsules were included.On the night before we checked out I sent a message asking for an extra hour the next morning. Twelve hours later, I had no response.Neither of these small issues detracted in any significant way, though. The place is just superb! (but I'm very picky) :))

Spectacular views and great amenities

What a wonderful property and boat. You could not ask for a more beautiful view along the wrap around deck. The house was immaculate and our only complaint was we wished we could have stayed longer. We had our fur babies with us as well and the deck had a gate that allowed them to run around and have a blast. Truly a fantastic property and I hope to be able to visit again.

Best experience in Maine/Acadia

Frankly the best stay ever ! Blessed with beautiful weather we enjoyed every minute of the views, access to the private beach, and the comfort of this amazing retreat ! The setup of the house is just perfect, waking up in the morning looking at the water from our bed was just a forever memory ! So thankful to the owners for sharing such a gem.

Perfect retreat with beautiful view-owner needs to fire third party company

We've rented vrbo homes in past, but this was by far the worst checkin ever. After driving 15hrs to get there and messaging the host 2x with no response, we get to the home. We spent 2.5 hrs on the phone with VRBO agents who kindly and graciously tried to help us to no avail. They were actually having us rent another property, if we could, for the week and if we could not find one, we had to do a hotel. needless to say i was about in tears. At this time, it was 630 pm and finding a place that was comparable and going to be covered takes a bit of time After being on hold trying to get a resolution, a person who helps the property owner, called us and apologized. She was dismayed that an email with our check in information was never sent....travelnest is the intermediary company and they dropped the ball. --- once checked in, we had a fantastic stay. The view was amazing, the activities were close, and having a private Little Beach was perfect. The home was cozy with plenty of amenities to make it a perfect stay. Thank you for making our anniversary a memorable one,!!

Amazing home!!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a few nights and it was absolutely gorgeous! The house was very clean when we arrived. The views of Acadia were stunning and hard to beat especially towards sunset. We wish we had more time to try out the sauna. WOULD COME BACK!!

A peaceful retreat

We loved our stay at The Lucky Stone retreat. It’s a beautifully appointed home in a very quiet location. The views of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia are fantastic. The spa is also a very tranquil and wonderful experience. We enjoyed the ease of hiking on the Schoodic Peninsula. It’s a little farther to get to Mount Desert Island but it wasn’t a bad drive. It was about 45-55 minutes depending on the day and time. We enjoyed visiting Bar Harbor but having this quiet place for ourselves and our dogs. The wraparound porch is awesome. There is also a nice gate that swings shut to close off the stairs. That allowed us to enjoy time on the porch without worrying about the dogs running off. I definitely recommend this location. We cooked pretty much all of our meals here and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thanks for letting us stay in this beautiful home!

Stunning place

The pictures on the listing don't quite do this place justice, it is absolutely stunning. When sitting on the deck the view is impeccable and seeing Acadia from the deck is the icing on the cake. I loved how clean and pretty everything was inside.

Relaxation at it's best!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lucky Stone Retreat. The views are unmatched. We really enjoyed coffee in the cool morning air and evening beverages on the deck. It was so relaxing and quiet. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting the Bar Harbor/Acadia area.

Wow! Wow! Wow!!

Don’t miss on this one!! The other reviews were right on the “mark”!! This place is extremely special and the view in the evening over the bay was magical. It literally felt like a painting. They have the place well decorated and the beds are extremely comfortable. Not to mention the Swedish spa next door!! We loved everything about this place and would stay again in a heartbeat.
