5 Stone Cottage is a wonderful Cotswold holiday home in the bustling town of Nailsworth which sleeps six guests, in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms. Made from honey-coloured Cotswold stone and set over three floors, this superb cottage has a well-equipped kitchen, a stylish, cosy sitting room and an astonishingly spacious master bedroom on the top floor all to itself. Leading on from the conservatory is the courtyard garden with outdoor seating, making it the perfect place to enjoy some al fresco dining. 5 Stone Cottage is a dog friendly holiday home, suitable for two medium sized dogs!

Pleasant stay

Lovely spacious cottage with all you need for a pleasant stay. Comfortable beds and nice shower, mirror in the 2 smaller bedrooms would be a useful addition. The place although a little tiered in places was spotless Clean.

Good

A very good stay with only one or two downsides. The cottage was great and the location was good, however 2 of the 3 bathrooms had issues, one appeared to have an odour from a drain issue and one had a noisy cistern. Also people need to be aware of events at the social club next door, this made one of the evenings very bad and sleep was hard to come by

Stay at 5 stone cottage

Beautiful stone cottage, plenty on space inside, catered for everyone with extra pillows, fans, etc. Issues with fridge freezer when we arrived and risked losing a lot of food but was dealt with quite quickly. Found beds quite high but they were still pretty comfortable. Good location, very close to shops and there is a social club next door. Did not cause any noise issues.

Lovely stay at Stone cottage

Stone cottage had a lovely home away from home feel, very well equipped, we appreciated the flowers and cakes on arrival! The cottage was warm with added benefit of a nice gas fire,two big comfy sofas and lovely bedrooms. Lots of food shops and restaurants walkable from the cottage. Disadvantages would be the narrow lane you have to drive down to get to the cottage. There was a social club near by and some noise could be heard from people leaving! This didn’t spoil our stay though!

Lovely weekend break at Stone Cottage. Location is great and for exploring neighbouring towns.

As above. House decorated to reasonable standard. Few patches of paintwork in bedrooms etc which could be made to look more complete. Cleanliness could have been improved. Under sofa in lounge thick with dust and bits. Not pleasant for my crawling 9 month old especially. Garden could also be tidier to encourage people to use in spring/ summer. Would return.

Great place in the heart of Nailsworth

The house itself was very nice and clean. The kitchen was somewhat cluttered with too many gadgets and crockery, so much so there was little space for your food so some manoeuvring is required! Bedrooms were comfy and amazing water pressure in the shower. Broadband was super fast so could work from the property. Service was also very good and any minor problems were quickly responded to. I would note that parking for 2 cars is extremely difficult in the designated spaces. We used a visitor space when available as couldn't use the space nearest to the bush. Would highly recommend overall!

Great option with parking

The house is in a very convenient location in a quite side street and central to everything Nailsworth has to offer. There are walks on the doorstep and further afield. The property was clean and in good decorative order. The kitchen was well provisioned with a well stocked spice rack and even some capsules for the Nespresso machine. The beds were comfortable and the temperature was fine despite it being a rather warm week for the time of year. The garden is secure, but it could do with freshening up. There were a couple of plants but it's not that appealing to relax in after a day exploring the local area. We had a couple of issue which Maddie was prompt in responding to. We would happily recommend the property and would book again if we return to Nailsworth in the future.

Lovely little stone cottage in Nailsworth

Deceptively roomy, super little cottage situated in a quiet lane only a 4 minute walk to the town, which has plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants. The cottage itself had a very well equipped kitchen, handy downstairs toilet, very spacious lounge and large, bright and airy conservatory which was perfect for mealtimes and activities for the children. The bedroom on the first floor with bunk beds was a little tight for space but perfectly adequate for the children and the other double bedroom on the same floor was lovely, along with a spacious main bathroom. The second floor consisted of the master bedroom and en suite which was amazing and provided plenty of room to set up the travel cot. Beds were comfortable and for an Easter weekend the price of the cottage was very reasonable. Stayscotswolds agent Maddie was absolutely lovely and very accommodating. Only thing the cottage lacked were Prosecco glasses but we popped in to the social club up the road and asked if we could borrow one for the evening and then returned it the next morning :) We had a lovely chilled out weekend here and would highly recommend this property

Fabulous cottage in a great location

We had a fabulous weekend stay in 5 Stone Cottage. It's very homely and well equipped, providing everything you could need for your stay. Extra touches such as a selection of tea bags, a pint of milk, salt & pepper and a spice/herb selection, plus all the kitchen basics of washing up liquid, tea towels etc were available which is always very helpful. The house was warm and cosy the whole time we were there, the beds are very comfortable and there's plenty of wardrobe space etc The location of the cottage is fabulous. Nailsworth is lovely little town with some great shops and food options and also a good base for exploring elsewhere in the area. Communication from Stay Cotswolds ahead of our arrival was excellent. The only minor issues we had was identifying which parking spaces were allocated to the cottage, as the car park was muddy and hiding the number, and in the en suite there was a broken shower head cradle. It was still usable but we alerted our contact at Stay Cotswolds who replied promptly with an apology and promise to fix it once we'd left. It didn't impact our stay in any way. Our only feedback would be a request for clarity on any recycling options and how, if at all, it's best to separate out the rubbish. Overall, we were really happy and we'll definitely be back another time.
