Riverside Retreat with Hot Tub

Welcome to our Riverside Retreat in Strasburg, Ohio! Relax on the front deck to the sound of the river or unwind in the hot tub on the back patio. Located just a short drive from Amish County, you can explore the shopping and restaurants in the area. Enjoy a comfortable stay in a fully furnished home with all the amenities you need. We look forward to hosting you!

Our modern and inviting property is perfect for your next getaway! You'll love the fully furnished kitchen, which comes equipped with everything you need to whip up your favorite meals.

The master bedroom on the main level boasts a comfortable queen bed and an attached bathroom. There's also another bedroom on the main level, complete with a cozy bunk bed featuring a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on top.

Upstairs, you'll find a third bedroom with another comfortable queen bed. There's a second full bathroom on the main level with a tub shower for your convenience.

Relax and unwind on the front deck, taking in the breathtaking view of the river. And don't forget about the hot tub and grill on the back patio, perfect for soaking and cooking up a delicious meal.

A fire ring in the side yard provides a cozy ambiance, but you'll need to bring your lawn chairs and firewood to enjoy it fully.

For your convenience, there's a washer and dryer available for guest use, so you can pack light and stay fresh throughout your stay. If you're looking for some fun, head to the garage where you'll find a ping pong table for some friendly competition.

Things were in good condition. The place was clean. I was caught off guard by there not being a table. I didnt catch that when I looked at the pics before renting. I didn’t find the card table and chairs until the 2nd day of our stay. You can seat three at the bar, but we had four people. We didn’t even have a coffee table either so no way to play the games we had brought with us and ate dinner on our laps. Even just one of those tables that folds down real skinny with long leaves could easily be placed under the tv and would be nice to have. I mean the card table is functional, but not ideal. Maybe a note explaining that the card table was in the closet in back bedroom.I also felt that the steps still had quite a bit of ice on them, and we had to be very careful how we walked up and down. I will say, in hind sight, that I could have contacted the owners about that, and I’m sure they would have rectified that situation. Hosts seemed nice through our texting. The bathrooms were very nice. Super deluxe feel. Queen beds were comfortable. My adult daughters felt the bunk bed mattresses were pretty firm, but I get that mattresses can be subjective too. Kitchen had good basic supply of kitchen needs.Thank you for our stay.

I want to start with the good because it really was a lovely experience most of the stay. Clint is an excellent host, was very responsive and helpful with every little question we had. The house was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The river was quiet and serene. There was minimal clean up requested for the checkout as well. Just a forewarning, we had an awful run in with the neighbor. She was very aggressive and mean. She clearly does not care for this property being a rental. Weather makes people crazy, so hopefully it was just a one off. However even with our poor interaction, Clint was very kind and understanding. Thank you for hosting us!

Just the quiet retreat we needed without actually leaving civilization! Clint was responsive and helpful without being intrusive. My 10 year old LOVED the ping pong table! The layout is great for families. Definitely would stay again.

The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. There were plenty of towels available for our use. We did use the washer and dryer but didn't make it out to the hot tub. The space looked super inviting outside. We would stay here again.

Nice family weekend getaway

This property was perfect for us. Quiet, rural with a hot tub and ping pong table that are always wished for by my boys :)The house was neat and tidy and cozy. I have to mention the bed linens that i thought were so soft and comfortable that i checked for a manufacturer tag and ordered some from Amazon before i left :)All in all, a wonderful time with my family and we would definitely stay again

We were here for a family reunion and the house was just 2 miles from our venue. Everything was ready for us upon arrival. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long day. Check out was easy. Only issue was ants in the kitchen. Since we weren’t eating there, I just informed Mr Bowers before departure. Would recommend.

Peaceful relaxing stay

Spent 2 nights here. The house is very clean and modern. Close to Amish country. The owner was very attentive and eager to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck listening to and watching the river go by. If you want a quiet place to relax after a day of exploring this is the place!
