If you're planning your next ski-cation, then look no further than this two-story townhouse near the Stowe Mountain Resort! This family-friendly retreat is ideal for families or a group of friends looking to experience a true mountain vacation without giving up comfort. The living space is inviting and boasts a convenient gas fireplace and a wall-mounted flatscreen TV for everyone's entertainment. Curl up on the sofa and get lost in one of the many books available with a delicious cup of coffee in hand. Head over to the balcony that's right off of the living area to take in the views and enjoy some fresh air. The kitchen might be small, but it features all the appliances needed to cook delicious meals, snacks, and desserts–you won't even have to leave home to try something delicious here. Come summer, you can take advantage of the shared, heated outdoor pool. Or challenge your friends to a friendly (or not so friendly) tennis match at the shared court available. There is a free Stowe Village Mountain shuttle that runs approximately from November 23rd - April 7th.

What's nearby:
This charming townhouse is located close to Stowe's Toll House Lift and just off the Home Run trail, which is ideal for beginners. Outdoor enthusiasts will have the time of their lives here! Less than one and a half miles is the Mill Trail, a two-mile, moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Stowe. This trail features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The renowned Stowe Mountain Resort is one and a half miles up north where you'll be able to enjoy skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, Nordic skiing, and more! Downtown Stowe is six and a half miles down the road. Here is the perfect place to enjoy some local dining (if you don't feel like cooking), Stowe Cinema 3Plex, convenience stores, and even the Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum.

Great location, but do not book if you need sofabed!

This place was very clean, but bare basics. If you think you might need the sofa bed, do NOT book this location. It is really old and uncomfortable; no sheets are provided even after several communications with Vacasa customer service. If you don't need the sofabed, it is very convenient to the toll house double lift (a short walk) and only a few minutes drive to the main gondolas. The kitchen is very bare bones, so not great for cooking anything other than breakfast. Very clean other than the no sheets which pretty much made our stay unpleasant.

As expected, very nice and cozy.

Cozy condo. It is dated and can use updates. This is not a property that will “wow” you. But it’s a great value to be near the Stowe mountain slopes. Unfortunately we went to early in the season so no ski In - ski out. Beds were comfortable, linen was clean and nice. Couches were a bit dated, old and I think they can benefit from getting a more comfortable couch. I recommend an “L” couch. It was rainy on one of our days and we were disappearing in the old and small tvs. Kitchen was stocked with all types of pots and pans. We cooked all meals and was amazing. The hot water is a little funny, don’t forget to turn on the switch. Even with the switch on, I would recommend turning in the hot water tank a bit warmer. The host was timely and interactive but we didn’t need anything. Overall I think it’s a great value! We would definitely stay here again if it was priced well and season permits! Thanks!

Second time in unit, same great result

My wife and I stayed in this unit with our 15 month old daughter and it was great. It was our second time in this unit. We love it because it has two beds and two baths and is ski on/off WHEN TOLL HOUSE LIFT IS OPEN. The condo is dated (clearly by photos) but it totally works. Highly recommend.

Great location

This place was clean, warm and the beds were very comfortable. A bit dated but it has everything you need for a comfy stay. Can't beat the location, 1 mile from the main base lodge. We did not have ski on/off for our week as there wasn't enough snow yet.

Great affordable townhouse for family/group vacation in mountains. It was a bit a challenge to cook though because smoke from the steak or bacon was constantly activating the fire detectors and we haven’t seen any hot pool as it was written in the description but rather than that we had no problems at all and enjoyed our ski trip a lot.

Home away from home

Excellent Vermont cabin close to Stowe

Great property conveniently located to the Stowe ski resort. Two bedrooms with two baths, a nice sized living room/dining room area, and a rollout/sleeper-couch. Good wifi and full kitchen. The only issue is that this is not quite "ski-in/ski-out" as we expected. The Toll House lift is about 490 yards away (1/4 mile), and would be a hike getting back. The 10:00 check out time does not allow for any skiing in the morning (lifts open at 9:00 on weekdays), so there is no way to ski for a few hours and come back and change before heading home. Otherwise, it was an excellent lodging for our family's short ski trip.

Just what you need

Stayed at this condo for a week long ski trip w my wife and daughter. Toll House Lift was open (note it’s only open if there’s enough snow) which made the skiing super convenient . It’s a quick traverse to the lift from the condo and basically ski out from Home Run trail. The condo is dated - sort of like going back in time to the 80s/90s but it is super functional and easy to use. The master bedroom has a great king sized bed and private bathroom. There is a hall bathroom for the second bedroom which has a queen bed. The downstairs has plenty of living space and a good-enough kitchen. Again what else do you need for a ski trip? This ain’t the ritz but it’s exactly what you need for a great ski trip. I would recommend and look forward to going back.

Great location

We had a nice time in Stowe. The location was great for us - it was up the mountain away from the town and away from people during the pandemic. The gas fireplace was very nice. It is an end unit so was quiet.
