Great location for the most part. Unfortunately it seems all rooms face out onto the main road so if you want a window open, don't do it if you're trying to sleep; the noise from the main road will most likely keep you awake. Parking charges - only free if you book direct with the hotel BUT we weren't told this until we got there. Bad enough the wedding the hotel itself was hosting didn't even offer the parents of the couple a discount on their rooms, never mind any other immediate family travelling 3 or 4 hours to be there, but to have 'free parking' advertised and find out it's chargeable was very frustrating. Staff seemed pleasant and happy enough, although the night before the wedding we were attending they clearly didn't think staffing out properly as the bar was left unattended whilst they sorted out the rooms for the wedding the next afternoon. We get that they needed to set the rooms up, but to have NO staff at a bar full of customers (and not just for the wedding) with said customers having to go looking for someone just to get a drink, only being able to find one who wasn't registered on the till and couldn't actually serve because he couldn't charge anyone, is a bit absurd. Not sure why extras weren't rota'd in but there you go. Decor very bland and in MAJOR need of updating, floors and doors creaky (the room above us woke us up at every toilet trip!) and frankly not the type of place we'd have expected special occasions to be held at.

Excellent

Pros: Very centrally located. Easy to commute around. Friendly and helpful staff.

Dance show weekend

We stayed at this hotel I had no problems Comfortable stay Friendly enough staff Only one down fall I suppose I did over hear a conversation between the manager and his staff about a food order that didn't impress me how customers were lied to about a food order which wasn't actually ordered they were told to lie. And offered there new meal free. But still that's not right. Honesty is the best policy Overall I would visit again
