A very spacious home in the charming Village of Stockport located in Southeast, Ohio. A peaceful view from back deck of Bald Eagle Creek. Morgan County is the gateway to connect or reconnect with nature. Excellent area for motorcycle riding, area is known for Ohio Tail of the Dragon, the Triple Nickel! Starting in 2024 Morgan County Tourism will be imposing a 3% bed tax per night to all guests that visit Morgan County.

This property was absolutely gorgeous and had everything we could have possibly needed and more. Check in couldn't have been easier and Wendi was very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay here again in the future and recommended it to anyone looking to stayvin the Stockport area.

Great property do recommend

House is large, more than enough room for ten people. Very clean. Host is great very responsive. Didn’t have any issues during our stay. Stockport is a neat little town. Visited many places in the area, McConnelsville and Zanesville just north of the place, are nice to visit especially if you’re an FOE member. We are from Michigan and went down to ride motorcycles on the windy nine and triple nickel. Great place for motorcyclists.

This is the 2nd year in a row that our group has stayed here. We ride down from Upstate NY to spend a week riding all the beautiful roads on our MC's. This house is well stocked with everything you need. The 4 bdrs and 3.5 baths make it great for a larger group. Beds are comfy, large living room. and bid dining table. The location is great for riding. The back deck is the perfect place to hang out and just visit. Wendie is a terrific host. She is very responsive to any issue that may come up. We will be back again.

Thanksgiving with family and friends!

Our annual Thanksgiving getaway was excellent! Each year we go somewhere different and this was at the top of our list. The house was PERFECT for us and allowed us lots of space to relax and enjoy! The kitchen was wonderful for preparing our Thanksgiving feast!

Great place to stay!

House and property were as described. Lots of room and lots of extras in the kitchen. 3 bedrooms upstairs with bathrooms and 1 bedroom downstairs with bathroom so works well to separate noisy kids from quiet adults! I stayed here with a group of FFA officers for our annual retreat to plan for the upcoming year. We had everything we needed with plenty of room. Highly recommend this place.

Way more than adequate...a very warm and cozy home...it gave us alot of personal time together...hotel room would have only given us a place to sleep, this house gave us a since of togetherness. Would we use this method of stay....YES WE WOULD!!!! I grew up in Malta/McConnelsville...Nice to beback

A home away from home

Perfect stay to visit family!

This place was perfect for our family! We have family in the area so it was a great location with great amenities! Plenty of room throughout the house and great WiFi connection for remote work! We plan to say again on a return trip to Stockport

Great Grandpa's getaway

My father-in-law used the rental and was so very pleased. his exact words were "I told my wife we need a house like this and in such a beautiful setting." Perfect

My husband and I along with his cousin and his wife came from Indiana to enjoy the triple nickel and other beautiful roads to ride our motorcycles on. The house was PERFECT! Wendi left snacks for us in the kitchen. The bathrooms were stocked with everything that we needed. The back porch with the fire pit was nice in the evenings. The guys will be back in a few weeks for a car trip to enjoy this house and the fun roads to drive. I highly recommend this house!

Motorcycle Trip

Rented the house to go motorcycle riding & visit the area. Though there is not much in Stockport, we loved riding the surrounding area. Great place to stay, exactly as described. Clean, comfortable, quiet neighborhood.

What a gem!

We were pleasantly surprised. The house was very nice, and reasonably clean. I would have to say that it was the best/most stocked house we’ve ever rented. The only issue we had was the grill, some of the burners were not working. We did enjoy the house though.

Everything was great except everyone agreed that the beds are uncomfortable. they are all too firm. I understand that different people like different levels of firm to softness, but a little pillow top on top of the firm would help. Spring gathering

Nice country home, spacious and quiet, wooded area. Perfect for an ‘old’ friends spring gathering. Just four of us but good for visits to OU and Marietta and Parkersburg. Thx for all the niceties, snacks, kuerick etc. had a great time!

Great location and house for motorcycling

Our stay at Wendi's house was excellent and just as advertised. Wendi went to extraordinary efforts to make sure every detail of the stay was as if it were your own house, paper towels, toilet paper, Q-Tips, snacks, cleaning supplies, fully furnished house, stocked kitchen, propane fire pit, a BBQ that actually works and is clean. You get the idea. Her house is more roomy than the listing shows. The living room is large and great for gathering. The front porch and deck are spacious with several high quality chairs for cocktails and gathering. The garage is clean, roomy, and functional. If you are looking for a centrally located house for touring SE Ohio's curvy roads, her house in Stockport is a good choice. Groceries and supplies are 8 miles up the road in McConnelsville. There is mill restaurant on the river which is nice. Wendi is responsive and you can see the extra effort she puts forth.
