Stinson Beach Cottage - 1 Minute Walk to Beach, in Town with Amenities Galore!

An A+ Location, this cottage has quality amenities, and everything you'll need to enjoy a beach getaway! No need to drive once you park inside the gates. You'll walk everywhere. Conveniently located beside the village park with kiddie playground, and basketball court. The cottage is across from the Parkside Cafe/Snack Bar/Bakery/Marketplace with the best eats in town, in my opinion. Take a beach wagon, piled high with beach toys from the 'Red Shed', you'll be seated on the sand within 2 minutes!

There are 40+ wetsuits, boogie & surfboards, beach chairs, umbrellas, totes, towels, blankets, footballs, smash ball & soccer balls, and sand toys for the little ones.. Shoot hoops, or play pingpong in the neighboring park.

Lounge, Dine, and Relax on the back deck with 2 adjustable lounges, teak table, chairs, bench and a Mt. Tamalpais view. In the evening watch the stars come out after a sunset beach walk. There's a 3 burner propane Weber grill, and a well stocked corner grocer, if you want to bbq. Or, order a pizza (clam with tomatillo sauce is my favorite) and calamari from Parkside.

The Dipsea and Matt Davis Trailheads are steps away, opening up the entire Mt. Tamalpais Park, Muir Woods National Park, and Golden Gate National Recreation Area to hikers. Or, walk the entire 2 mile length of Stinson & Upton Beach to the inlet of Bolinas Lagoon.

Bring the binoculars, and view migratory and resident shore birds. Flocks of pelicans, terns, cormorants, herons, egrets and many more visit or reside on the lagoon, and seashore. You may see migrating whales pass by in late fall heading to mexico, returning north in the spring with their young.. Harbor seals routinely sleep side-by-side along the exposed Bolinas Lagoon sand spit during low tide. There are many places to park along the lagoon to enjoy the peaceful comings and goings of wildlife. Bring beach chairs and a picnic. You may even see the resident family of river otters hunting along the shore for fish, shellfish & crabs. There's always plenty to do!

The cottage is 1 level, sunny & bright. The Kitchen/Great Room has a large butcher block island with propane gas stove, overlooking the living area. You can view the large, wall mounted, smart TV with family and friends during meal preparation. The well appointed kitchen has a Bosch Dishwasher, Fisher Paykel Refrigerator, microwave oven, gas stove, quality cookware and dinnerware.

Primary bedroom has desk & chair, full length bench, and a large closet with a folding infant crib. Both the primary and secondary bedrooms, have black out curtains, featherbeds and down comforters. Very comfortable and cozy sleeping....

There is on-demand hot water, 2 modern electric wall heaters and good lighting. An outside shower, on the back fence, has H/C water for rinsing off after a dip in the ocean, or before using the spa. The full bath has a shower over the tub. There is a full size Washer & Dryer, that are stacked in a closet.

Parking is for 1 Car inside gated driveway. Abundant on-street parking available for large SUV vehicles.

Owner lives in the back cottage, parks beside your vehicle, and has a private fenced yard & back gate.
