Over 3000sf. Fully stocked, (just remodeled) kitchen, study, formal dining room, large living room, full bath, all downstairs. Upstairs, 4 bedrooms (2 Queens, 2 sets of twins) and 3 full baths. 2 Galley stairs (very steep) and main staircase. Large pool and expansive open space with piers and water access. Canoe and kayaks available.
Our family was in Stevensville for my nephew's wedding. When I saw this property on VRBO, I had to rent it. We had a special time here! Kyaking, canoeing, relaxing and swimming in the pool. This property is extraordinary with a novel vibe. Lots of outdoor space to hang out & explore (picnic tables, swings, firepit etc). The home is so unique and we all loved the different rooms, spaces & history of the home. Kitchen was perfect and the laundry was so nice to have available. We would definately come back - Glen was helpful, kind, and a subperb host! Pro-tip - if you are looking to eat steamed crabs or seafood, head to Fisherman's Crab Deck Kent Narrows about 5 miles away! Enjoy :)
We had a great stay at this property. The house is an incredible piece of local history and is situated in a beautiful and very quiet location. The house itself is quirky and charming and the private pool was fantastic. We did notice however that there were quite a few wasps in the house that kept us on our toes, along with other insect critters, and the steep stairs were difficult for our young child and more senior family members to navigate. Nothing significant but something certain populations should be aware of. The owners were responsive and the house is close to many wonderful restaurants. Those interested in history should not pass up the opportunity to stay here!
We adored our stay at Stevensville. Glen was welcoming and kind. We felt at home using the amazing pool and just enjoying the beautiful property. The house was comfortable and so much fun to see a piece of history so lovingly restored. The area was beautiful as well. We brought our three teens who had a fantastic time as well.
We had a wonderful time staying at your farmhouse! We found it easy to navigate to and the house is as charming as ever. We really enjoyed the private pool during the day and walking down to the deep water dock to take in the picturesque scenery in the evenings. Would absolutely stay here again.
We were in town for a family wedding at the Kent Resort so this location was great! We all loved exploring this fascinating house- especially our architect son! The grounds are lovely and we enjoyed using the canoe and also hanging out on the patio with our coffee and listening to the birds Thabks!
Our boys lacrosse team stayed at Camp Wright for a few days during Spring Break 2025 while we moms stayed across the street at this awesome house with so much character! It wasn't warm enough to enjoy the pool but we made great use of the outdoor fire pit. The kitchen was also perfect for our needs. May not be your cup of tea but I loved waking up to the rooster's crow. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!! (But don't use the front stairs.)
Very cool house with great host. Very spacious. Excellent kitchen and very cozy. It would have been helpful to know about the staircases. We had an 8 month pregnant woman and 2 year old that were not able to come but it would have been an issue as getting to the single bed rooms is challenging.
We very much enjoyed our stay, relishing the peace and quiet of the property as an offset to our busy wedding week. The house was spacious and well outfitted, and we all enjoyed downtime in the pool. Glen was very helpful at answering all of our questions. We left the galley stairs to the young adults traveling with us. :)
The house was very nice! Loved that it was a piece of history we got to stay in! We loved that we had access to the water! Of course we all enjoyed pool time!! Thank you for a great vacation rental. Hope to return in the future.
Fell in LOVE with this property and the Farmhouse! So beautiful and unique. It is far enough from town to feel like you aren't in town, but close enough to enjoy the Food Lion Grocery store easily! Everything exceeded our expectations.
Beautiful property and charming historic home that offered us plenty of space to gather, eat, relax and enjoy each other! Thanks to Glen and his family for giving us this opportunity to stay close to my nieceâs wedding venue in a great environment! We loved the pool and the massive outdoor space. We only wish we had more time to enjoy all the surrounding nature!
Came for USNA graduation. Great location and very interesting and historical property. Only downside was the mosquitos and ants but that just comes with the territory.
Thanks for having us.
We had a small group stay here for a weekend of wedding festivities at a nearby resort. Loved the small amenities like coffee and linens. Property management was extremely responsive to questions and made the stay very easy. House is fascinating and quirky with some definite challenges (those staircases!) but we knew ahead of time about those and were prepared. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful place with lots of character.
This is a beautifully restored getaway that was right across from a bike trail. They also had a canoe and kayaks available with a dock to launch. Annapolis is only 20 minutes away and the owners were so kind and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here.
This 1700 farm house is a special retreat and fun place to stay with a large group of family and friends. The history and antiquity of the farm house is evident in every room. Clean. Fun. Glen, the host, is fantastic and provides local info plus their dog Gus who strolled in for a morning hello, charming. Definite retreat for adventurous family and friend group. I highly recommend.
Cool old house but only the main stairs are reasonable to climb but only have a railing part way. My older mother couldnât get up the maid stairs and slept on the couch. My brother who has no handicaps but not athletic had a very hard time. The only way to get to the twin rooms is by this difficult stairs or crawling through a 2x4 door in the wall. The bathrooms were all renovated nicely. The upstairs ceilings and doorways everywhere were low. Nobody over 5â10â should stay here. The hot water and water pressure were good. The pool was pretty but the water was cloudy. The kitchen space is good. There is a bathroom in the first floor but two difficult stairs with no hand holds. The hosts were great and the property is nice. I would not recommend for little kids, older kids would think the house is cool.
Family came In from Philadelphia and west coast for a family wedding. Location was wonderful and the historic house was perfect. The pool was a perfect addition to a wonderful weekend!
We were in town for a family wedding at nearby Kent Island Resort (5 minutes away) and stayed for a week to enjoy the area. This property was great for extended family (7 adults). It is an old house (low ceilings, creaky floors and steep stairs), but it was all disclosed, so there were no surprises and was as expected. The house has tremendous charm and, as with most 200+ year old houses, has lots of connected rooms (perfect for extended families as everyone had their own space). The grounds were great and offered lots of space for our dogs to play. There is also a dog beach across the street!
