The room was clean & the TV and cable were adequate. Overall though the bed was old the mattress springs were poking out of the side of the mattress and the blanket in closet was in tatters. The air conditioning was noisy when it cycled, the water pressure in the shower was dismal you felt like it took several rinses to get soap out of your hair. At the Cascade restaurant there most prestigious of the eateries on premise we stood for over 5 minutes waiting for the hostess took a future reservation and entered it in the computer again we were the only ones in line and it was certainly not busy at the lunch hour. The waiter likewise was not very solicitous and again there was hardly any patrons in the Restaurant at the time. Let me also say we booked through Expedia there was no mention that our booking would not include resort fees and parking fees of $15 per night something that Skamania just added to there charges as of June 2025. Also resort fee was $18.75 per night also extra on top of Expedia charges. We ordered room service something you werenât allowed to order the night before. Food arrived in all to go utensils such as paper cup for the oatmeal and paper cups for coffee and no salt n pepper or ketchups for eggs. Overall a very average stay and thatâs not a very high compliment for such an old established prestigious and pricey property. Personnel were nice but overall very average
