We checked in and dragged our luggage across the entire conference center only to find that our room was not the room we paid for. We dragged our luggage back to check in and waited in line for the receptionist. We were given a new room, the one we requested. Upon entering that room, we discovered it hadnât been cleaned. We went back to reception and weâre told to wait 40 minutes for housekeeping to clean the room. We waited in a lobby area that hadnât been cleaned. Finally we got into the room. It wasnât well cleaned (prior guests toothpaste in sink handle). The air conditioning in the room was broken and we could only open one window (which had the screen taped on). The other window had no screen. We dialed the number for room service (which was listed on our room phone) and weâre told we had to call the hotel. We gave up and ate in a restaurant in person. One good thing is that it was quiet.
