A Ducking Good Time is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom townhome in the Cascades neighborhood of Steamboat Springs. This townhome has a fresh look throughout and includes a brand new hot tub on the deck! This end unit is a short walk to the free city bus stop or the biking paths to take you around the neighborhood and into town. The property also offers 2 "winter only" shuttles, the looping skier shuttle adding super convenience to get to the slopes and new in 2026, on call shuttle to downtown/city limits.

Upon entering the property, you are greeted with an open floor plan, welcoming guests to settle in easily. The living room includes a gas fireplace and access to the deck where you can soak in the new hot tub after a day playing in the mountains. Enjoy gourmet meals or rounds of cards at the dining table, complete with 8 chairs. Additional seating is available at the breakfast bar where you can be the first to catch the action of the chefs in your group. The kitchen is spacious, with 3 sides of counter space and stainless steel appliances. The pantry just off the kitchen will hold not only your snacks, but small appliances you may want to use while you are at the property. Just off the kitchen is a mud room with cubbies, a bench and hooks to keep your gear organized. The oversized 2 car garage is a treat to pull into after driving through a snow storm or on a cold night.

This main level also includes the primary bedroom with en suite bath. Enjoy deck access from the primary, along with a great night's rest in the king size bed. The en suite bath includes double sinks and a separate shower/toilet room with a pocket door for privacy. Enter into the second bedroom on this level to find a new queen size bed and mattress with a full bath just outside the bedroom door.

Head downstairs to enjoy the second living area and spread out on the leather L-shaped couch while enjoying your favorite game or movie on the flat screen TV. A new 60-game arcade table will keep the young and old entertained after playing outdoors. A small bar area, large closets and a separate laundry/utility room are also part of the lower level spaces. The other 2 bedrooms of the property are located on this level as well. At the end of the hallway is the 3rd bedroom complete with a king size bed. The 4th bedroom is more than large enough to accommodate two twin beds over 2 full size bunk beds, a great space for the kids to spread out! This bedroom also has a small desk for anyone needing a quiet space for homework or a Zoom meeting. The lower level of this townhome has 1 full bathroom with double sinks and a pocket door separating the shower and toilet, adding privacy when needed.

Four Seasons Steamboat manages this Steamboat vacation rental on behalf of the owners. Four Seasons Steamboat is a locally owned and operated property management company located in the heart of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. As locals, we are here to quickly handle any issues and provide expert Steamboat insights! We follow all local rules and state laws regarding taxes, occupancy, and any other nightly rental restrictions.

Each of our vacation rental homes comes with the essentials needed to enjoy your Steamboat Springs vacation; towels, linens, bathroom products, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher soap, tissues, etc. You will be required to electronically sign our vacation home rental agreement to finalize your reservation. Your reservation total includes all applicable state and local taxes, Accidental Damage Protection, and a cleaning fee.

Cancellation Policy:
Non-holiday reservations: Reservations cancelled at least 30 days before arrival day will be refunded 100%. Reservations cancelled 29 or fewer days before arrival date will be refunded whatever amount we can re-book with a new guest. If unable to re-book with a new guest, the entire reservation will be forfeited.

Holiday reservations (the week of Christmas and the week after Christmas): Reservations cancelled at least 45 days before the start of your stay will be refunded 100%. Reservations cancelled 44 or fewer days before arrival date will be refunded the amount we re-book with a new guest. If unable to re-book with a new guest, the entire reservation will be forfeited.

Is there a cancellation fee? You can cancel any reservation for free up to 48 hours after booking. After 48 hours we charge a $100 administrative fee for cancelling a reservation more than 30 days from arrival date (45 for holiday reservations).

We encourage you to buy our Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) insurance to ensure you won't lose any money due to circumstances out of your control.

Great setup for family and well-equipped. We had a great time and had everything we needed for our four day stay. Convenient location for hopping onto the bike trail. Check in very easy. Kitchen stocked with basics. Some recommended improvements: new dishwasher, new coffeemaker, and a chair in each bedroom.

The house worked great for a mini family reunion with eight of us across three generations. There was plenty of space for everyone, with multiple places to hang out. The well-maintained hot tub got plenty of use. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for everyone. The location is just a couple minutes drive from the gondola and downtown, with plenty of good walking paths around if you want to get outside. There is a pond just a few minutes walk away, that had a variety of wildlife to see. The house did have plenty of games for when you’re hanging out there, and it was very easy to get from the house to everywhere we wanted to go in the area. The couple of times we had questions about something, the hosts were very responsive.A few things to be aware of:* The additional parking spot is immediately outside the garage, so if you can’t park all your vehicles in the garage, there is a spot very convenient. In the week we were there, there were only a few hours it was occupied by someone else.* There is no garage remote, only a keypad outside the garage door. It’s not a big deal, but you will be getting in and out of your car anytime you enter or leave the garage.* The A/C is downstairs only, like many two-story houses in Colorado. That means the upstairs can be noticeably warmer during the day.Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Great vacation with family. House was large and truly wonderful! Would recommend connecting the bunk ladders to the bed for safety but that was our only (very minor) complaint with younger kids. Would definitely stay here again.
