Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at The Byres per reservation.

The nearest train station to Dipton can be found in Dunston, 8 miles away from The Byres by road. Dunston Train Station has direct services operating to locations across Northern England including Billingham, Blaydon, Hartlepool, Hexham, Middlesbrough, Newcastle upon Tyne, Prudhoe, Seaham, Stockton-on-Tees, Sunderland and Thornaby-on-Tees.



A number of bus routes operate in Dipton offering access Consett, Durham, Newcastle upon Tyne and Stanley.
