Great hotel in central location with free parking. Room and hotel decor all good. Friendly staff were all helpful. Food good, perhaps a little higher priced relative to other places. Stayed with dog, no problems at all.

Really nice place with a good bar and nice staff - breakfast was excellent

We really like this property and have stayed a few times. The room we had was ideal for us but there was steep staircase to the rooms which could hsve been a challenge to other guests.

Very disappointing. Young staff are well-meaning, but not adequately trained. Furniture in dining room not suitable for mobility-impaired guests. Table & crockery sticky at breakfast. Sugar cubes should have tongs. Unwrapped butter attracts foreign bodies. "Brown" bread contained seeds. I hope they do not include sesame, as I was not warned about this, or asked whether I have an allergy. Shower head left out of reach. Tall people can easily push gead upwards, but shorter people can't reach to slide down.

The Swan Stafford

Pros: The building, staff and food
Cons: Slighly bigger car park spaces
Location: Right in the middle of town.
Historic building in centre of Stafford . Clean and tidy rooms, fantastic food and helpvul staff. Would definately stay again.
