There has been an ongoing issue with the local utility company (WAPA) resulting is several scheduled and unscheduled outages. Consequently, we did not have power 3 of our 5 nights, including one time where the power was out 20 hours. This unit does not have a generator at the time of this posting (April 2026). We were NOT notified of these outages in advance, so on our first day we stocked up on groceries, only for the power to go out our first night. The second night the power went out, and I inquired and discovered this has been a recurring issue and the property manager noted "the prior week was bad". We were NOT notified of this issue prior to our arrival and when pressed, they stated there is nothing they can do about it and offered no restitution. They place blame & do not take responsibility for a major inconvenience in not having reliable power, especially for families.Days in advance of our arrival, I inquired if an early check in was available. Then the day before our arrival I was sent a text offering an early check in with venmo instruction to pay for it (40). I declined. The day before check out, I was sent another text offering a late check out for 40. After 3 days without power, this offer should represent how inconsiderate property management is at this unit.Neighboring property guests were notified of the potential outage issues prior to their arrivals. Some have generators, some do not, but at least they were notified. We won't use this company again
