Island Attitude - 6 bed/5 bath home- Private Pool!

Real Escapes Properties is proud to present to you - Island Attitude.

The last best place on St Simons Island. Once there, you will understand. Island Attitude has unmatched privacy with a superior location. You will fall in love with this private home with 6 bedrooms and 5 baths in a completely renovated Shangri-La.

The open floor plan on the main living level is great for entertaining. Plenty of room to relax in the den around the fireplace or gathering as a family at the kitchen table. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and brand new everything! There are 3 bedrooms on the main level. Two of those with en-suite bathrooms and the third bedroom has a bath right outside the door to the bedroom. A large laundry room on the main level rounds out the first floor.

The second floor has plenty of room for late night tv watching in the comfortable den located on the 2nd floor landing. This floor also hosts two bedrooms – one with two full size beds and the other with a set of bunks. A full bathroom is located in the hall.

The third floor is a private master suite featuring a king bed with a kitchenette, sitting area and en-suite bath with walk-in shower.

Outdoor comfort? Enjoyment starts as you enter the private gate – the front porch is filled with rocking chairs. Head out the back door and you will find one of the better outdoor living and entertaining areas on the island. Brand new pool with hot tub and waterfall is just the beginning. Your outside cabana has everything you need for the perfect pool party & cook out – bar, fireplace, plenty of seating and new grill.

Approximate pool dimensions: 13 x 28 with an 8 foot shelf and 5' deep.

Occupancy - 14: Group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (14 persons).

Pets: We love pups! Limit of 2 with a $100/pup non-refundable fee.

Parking is available for up to 2 vehicles in the front and 2 additional vehicles at the rear of the property.

HEATED POOL: Pool can be heated for an additional $450. Please make arrangements prior to your stay if you would like the pool heated.

AGE: Minimum age to rent is 25. This applies to all guests with the exception of multi-generational families.

What to Expect in your Unit:
Linens (Bath towels and bed sheets) are provided along with a starting supply of toilet Paper, Soap, Paper Towels and Trash Bags. (Any additional supplies needed during tenancy will be the responsibility of the guest.)

The home was clean and spacious. We enjoyed the pool deck a lot and appreciated the washer and dryer as well as the extra fridge in the laundry room. The beds were comfortable and the seating was spacious. Some of the outdoor furniture was broken, but it may be typical this late in the season. Would stay here again and recommend to others. Our only criticism was it would be great if there could be a digital code provided to the house, instead of having to physically go to the office to get a key. Having to keep up with a key at the beach is not ideal and the extra driving trips seemed unnecessary and dated. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here and rent again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house with large rooms and an excellent pool. The 6 kids (6 and under )had a great time in the pool!!Property is close to everything. You can get to restaurants, beech, attractions and the grocery store all within five minutes.Only 2 minor issues-icemaker does not keep up with the demand-I recommend buying a bag of ice on day one and that should suffice. Issue number two is the grill does not get hot enough to do a good sear on the steak and just more or less bakes the steaks.All that being said,this is a great property and we would certainly love coming back!!!

Wonderful family trip

We enjoyed our Christmas trip to St Simon's and our stay here - the house had a great layout for our group of 6 adults and 5 children/teens. The 3rd floor had ample room and privacy for work and Zoom calls during the week, while the 2nd floor worked well as the kid zone, with a nice sitting area outside the bedrooms, and the ground floor bedroom was perfect for the grandparents. The porch was lovely, we enjoyed the backyard fireplace, and the kids went in the pool even though the heating was not working while we were there. The location was great for our soccer son, who was able to practice in a park a block away, and for our dog, who enjoyed the walks to the beach and dog park (10 and 15 minutes away). The fence provided privacy and the small yard was nicely landscaped.

Thanksgiving Family Vacay

We had a great stay at this beach town cottage. There were 11 of us and one large Bernedoodle. 8 adults 3 children under 7. There was smoke room for all and the children lived the heated pool and spa despite the cooler temperatures. The close proximity to everything was an added bonus. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a great place to stay in St. Simons. Easy check in and out.

Great house

We loved this house. The rooms and pool were phenomenal! The only thing missing was beach towels and chairs, that we were told existed. However the property management corrected that and delivered beach chairs and towels. We had a great time! Beautifully decorated and roomy!

First time to SSI - great stay at Island Attitude

This home was spacious enough for our large group - larger than the pictures showcased - and the outdoor space with pool, covered patio, and fenced yard were a hit with all. Decor well coordinated & beachy. We parked two cars in the front and two in the back with a golf cart in back as well. Our rented bikes went in the front yard, inside the gate, but they were in the way of the path around the house, so a dedicated space to park them would have made this rental even better. Some of us biked to the beach in the early mornings or to Pier Village for breakfast. There are sidewalks paths for biking/walking to Pier Village. Biking to the beach requires a short jaunt on the road (Arnold Rd) without a path, and then sidewalks become available, but not a real issue. For our whole party to get to the beach, we took an SUV & the golf cart in the afternoons. There is a second fridge in the laundry room which we used for beverages & found very helpful. The trash pickup was an issue for us - the island trash service will only take what is in the bin, not on the ground next to the bin, and recycling only comes every other week. This was not explained to us until we called property management who sent someone out to collect the overflow. Minor issue overall. All in all, everyone in our group was very happy with this home and the location. Our first trip to SSI was a success, we found there was quite a lot to do on the island as well as neighboring places like Jekyll Island and Brunswick.

Beautiful Space Perfect for a Group!

Really loved this property and the proximity to everything on the island. The house is wonderful for a group with plenty of spaces inside and out. The fenced in pool, patio, and grilling station is a great addition. Will definitely be back!

Lovely Place

This was absolutely beautiful. Loved the outside area with the pool, tv and grill. We stayed most of the time outside just because it was so relaxing. All the rooms were gorgeous and loved the privacy with the three floors. Wish they had starter packages like dish soap, washing powder, trash bags etc. Best to rent a golf cart to go to the beach as well but it’s also a short drive in the car (no more than 5 mins - we went to Massengale Park for beach access because it was laid back and less people). Overall, we would definitely go back!
