Heart of the SSI studio cottage, fresh design, WALK to shops/dinner/lighthouse

The Cottages at Neptune Way #2 is a beautifully designed 1 bedroom studio perfectly located in the heart of SSI village area. One of 3 cottage units on the shared property, it boasts a quiet street tucked one block behind the bustling village shops and restaurants. Extra tall ceilings, kitchenette with new vintage style appliances, huge tv on living area side of the studio, 2 queen beds and access to a shared back patio. Please note that there is a small set of stairs leading up to the bathroom. Bathroom also has a full-sized washer and dryer for laundry needs.

The property is a 1930's bungalow that has been fully renovated and split into 3 cottages with beautiful finishes for a high-end experience and the location is EVERYTHING! Here you will be able to walk 1 block over to the village shops and restaurants and 3 blocks to walk by the ocean and visit the lighthouse. This property is set on a quiet street tucked between a park with gorgeous oaks (photo-moment!) and on the other side the start of the village/pier area to walk to local shops and restaurants.

The main beach is just a short 3 minute drive, but we recommend renting bikes or a (street legal) golf cart for the ultimate island experience. You will love your stay at the Cottages at Neptune Way. We hope to host you soon!

We had a wonderful time during our stay on St. Simon’s! The location could not have been better! We were able to walk to restaurants, shops, the lighthouse and the beach! The back yard was marvelous and we spent each night at the fire pit looking at the stars. Having beach chairs for us to use was an unexpected gem and definitely came in handy. Overall it was a 10/10 and we will definitely be back
we’ve already begun talking next year and staying longer!

My wife and I returned to St Simons Island after 20 years. The location of this rental was perfect to be able to walk into the 'village' and not have to use the car.I tend to use a simple metric: would I stay at this property again? Without hesitation, we would!

Fourth of July Getaway!

This place is a dream! You really are within walking distance of everything worth being near! St Simons is one of my favorite places and my boyfriend and I decided to stay here for the Fourth of July. This place was perfect! We walked to the fireworks, ate at a new place every day, and explored the pier and the beach daily. This listing was exactly as pictured, very tidy, stylish, and the host was so easy to contact and communicate with. I highly recommend this place for your next stay in St. Simons island!

A super cute place that was extremely well appointed and stocked with everything we needed! Just a few blocks from everything in the St Simons Village made it the perfect location for our stay. The hosts were great and easy to work with and made our stay even more enjoyable!

Disappointing

We were excited to check into our cottage only to realize this is not a cottage, but a garage or breezeway located in the middle of a ranch home. Upon entering this property we noticed the white couch and matching chair were very soiled. The bed had a huge dip in the middle and the floor was concrete with two large jute type rugs. The bathroom was better, it was clean, spacious and updated. This property sadly was not what we expected.

The location of this Vrbo was so great! You are less than 5 mins (driving) from the public beach and in a perfect location to walk to a bunch of local restaurants and shops. We were in St Simons for a wedding and the reception was at the Lighthouse museum which was awesome because we were able to walk to and from the museum from our Vrbo without driving. I’d highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a place to enjoy the local restaurants and shop in walking distance

Hidden Gem

Amazing, cozy getaway place, central located to pier village. You could not ask for anything more. The space, was warm and inviting and had all of the amenities that you would need for a perfect getaway. It was exceptionally clean, well stocked (towels, bed linens, etc) and the beds slept great. This is a place we love to stay at when we go and will definitely book it again in the future. As far as location you are within minutes of Pier Village, which is a very easy leisurely walk, as well as St. Simon’s Pier and the shoppes. If you are reading this, then this is where you want to stay. Don’t hesitate, just book it!

Lovely Location, Cute Space

We had a lovely stay in this small studio space. It worked for us because we ate out most meals, and didn’t need a lot of room. It had a wonderful location, within walking distance to a ton of wonderful restaurants, shops, and beach access points. Lots of interesting things to do nearby. This was a great location to investigate Saint Simons Island from.

Clean & updated cottage, perfect location

Adorable Cottage

We loved our cottage in St Simons! The property was adorable and perfect for my husband and I. The kitchen is small, but fit our needs perfectly. We could store food in the fridge and prepare drinks in the evening. The location is wonderful too. Downtown is easily accessible too with a short walk. We walked to dinner every night.

Wonderful location, beautiful space

The location of this home is in the center of everything, and was perfect for us. We rented bikes and rode to the beach and all over the island. In walking distance to most restaurants. You can tell a lot of time and care was put into the details of this property, it was lovely and very comfortable. Had all the things we needed for our short stay. Suggest attention to cleaning service.

Primary living area floors were in need of cleaning in "corners". Appeared that a robot vacuum was used and did not get to the corners of the room. Otherwise, nice accommodation for two senior adults. Thanks.
