We are sharing our adorable hidden gem with you, fondly named Coastal Comfort. Decorated in charming coastal style and designed around the comfort of coastal living. We are very close to the Lighthouse, Village and Pier areas of St. Simons Island. Public Beach entrances are easily accessible, too.

THE SPACE
Standard occupancy is 8, sleeps 10 by use of the sleeper sofa. There is room to park 2 cars and a golf cart.

Bedroom layout:
Main level - Primary Bedroom (TV) with a King bed and adjoining bathroom.
Bunk bedroom (TV) twin size bunk beds.
Guest bathroom with shower located off the living area.
Queen Sleeper sofa (TV in family room).
Upstairs - Guest Bedroom 1 (TV), Queen bed with adjoining bathroom, combo tub/shower.
Guest Bedroom 2 (TV) hall bathroom with combo tub/shower. Open landing with a desk.

Kitchen is fully equipped and has a single serve and drip style coffee maker.

An outdoor shower is on the side of the house to rinse of sandy toes. The back deck has an outdoor grill and Hotspring Hot Tub.

Located on the south end of the Island, St. Simons Pier Village district serves as the downtown social hub and is a popular destination for shopping, dining and gathering on the pier and nearby lighthouse, playground and picnic areas. Overlooking the ocean and Jekyll Island across the way, you'll find the St. Simons Lighthouse and Museum, Neptune Park with its ocean side pool and facilities, playground, miniature golf course, and an oak shaded picnic area, fishing pier, public library and theater.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.

Pets: This home is dog friendly for dogs 25lbs or less with $250 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host puppies < 1 year old or breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.

No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.

Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.

No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

Our host was always available, quick responses and so helpful! And you can’t beat the proximity to the beach, pier & yummy restaurants! Such an enjoyable Christmas holiday with such a cute house! And we really loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom!

Baby Shower in St. Simon’s Island

Our daughter and son-in-law had their baby shower at his parent’s home on SSI. The house, layout, rooms, kitchen, bathrooms were fabulous. Clean, crisp and modern. The weather did not allow us to take advantage of the hot-tub. The neighborhood has a mix of vacation rental homes and homes that have overgrown vegetation; but the proximity to the village was great! Communication with host was timely; check-in and check-out was easy.

Overall was a great stay, property was clean and very nice. Only issue was that I seemed to have paid quite a bit more than others for the same type property and location. This was my daughters wedding so I knew quite a few renters for last weekend and my price was way more than others in the same area.

Everything you need in great location

This charming house filled all of our needs. The owner has used every inch of the space to maximize the use of this property to include ample sleeping space and bathrooms. The house is well decorated and was very clean for our arrival. The kitchen had a nice assortment of pots, pans, plates, and glassware, and a second sink that is very useful. This house is in a nice neighborhood that surrounds a park and is perfect for taking walks. The property is also within walking distance of restaurants, shops andlical sights.

Fun Week at Coastal Cabin

Excellent house for a family vacation. Coastal Cabin is close to the village and beaches and the hosts could not have been more accommodating. Well stocked with everything we needed and never had to report any problems. We will be back!

Lovely cottage, perfectly appointed

This is a lovely cottage almost new, perfect for up to two to three couples. Great for a family with a lot of kids. Super location, walking distance to the pier. Had everything we needed for a two plus week stay. Great hairdryers!! Great kitchen. Nice office area upstairs where I was able to work. Not a fan of memory foam beds or pillows, but we brought our own pillows. Over all A+.
