Poorly maintained, needs a deep cleaning(coffee pot needs replaced, mold on interior of windows, palmetto droppings in kitchen drawers, mold on central air vents, bathroom vents loaded with lint/dust, etc). Beds are in need of replacement as there are indentations from use. Kitchen drain was clogged. The smell hits you as soon as you open the door and it lingers.

I have stayed at this property 4 years. First time in this unit. The unit overall needs general maintenance. The air vents were dirty. The floors were not cleaned. One of the twin beds was broken.The living room TV would turn off after an hour. There was an issue with roaches. The overhead lights in bedrooms flicker. The property has over grown landscape that obstructed view of beach. Overall, was disappointed with accommodations. Will look for different location next year.

Overall Great Experience!

The unit was as described and amenities were great! We had some parking issues that were no fault of the management company, but the communication regarding ongoing repairs were not communicated accurately or timely. Overall they did a wonderful job and were very responsive, but communication was a little lacking. All that said, It was a wonderful place with a fantastic view of the sunset. We had a wonderful time

Enjoyed the stay for the most part.

Condominium was as described. Nice, Clean. Affordable. Enjoyed our stay for the most part. But if you are looking for calm stay with few people, this is not it. There is 12 units at this address it was very busy during our stay. There is a huge public beach access very close to the property so the beach had a lot of people on it.

This is our 3rd stay. Communication was good with the property manager. My only concern was the gates to pool/beach access were never closed on one occasion there were young adults not guests at the pool. They were loud, acting inappropriate, I did reach out to host. This didn’t happen again.

Family Vacation 2024

Property was immaculate upon arrival. Exactly as pictured. The fridge was not cold, after calling they had brought us a dorm fridge (from their office) to help until they could get the fridge replaced. It was replaced during our stay with a new fridge. They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. View is AMAZING! Pool/hot tub were wonderful! Maintained everyday! We used the hot tub every night. Beds were comfortable. Loved the rain shower head! We will most definitely be back! The location is perfect as well, walked to several places during our week for food, drinks and ice cream! I will say based on other comments, there was NO mold smell the entire week we were there. It was fresh and clean.

Great condo with wonderful patio

This condo has been nicely redone. Our favorite was the accordion glass doors to the patio. In the evenings and mornings it was so nice to have them all the way open. The kitchens and bathrooms were redone nicely. The pool and hot tub were great too. The pool was nicely heated and the hot tub was used almost everyday day since it was chilly while we were there.

College kids gone wild

Groups of college kids who were only 21 rented several units in Sunset Paradise our first week. Made things very annoying. Partied by the pool late into the night. The unit was not cleaned well. It lacked a good, clean coffee pot and toaster to use. The unit filter was very dirty and we changed that and the shower curtain liner. The unit had an odor I could not get rid of. No cleaning supplies at all. I purchased them and left them for future use. Also purchased a clean mop to do the floors. The outside deck light switch was broken. The switch had to be held up to work definitely a safety hazard. We had ants in the unit due to a big hole in the heater room. No screens in bedroom windows. The view was beautiful but for the money will never rent that unit again.

Rough beachfront

Very dated and dirty property. They don’t invest in deep cleaning enough. Black model in laundry room ceiling, broken floor tiles in main hallway, and all kinds of dust and garbage under beds and couches. In addition the property management was super rude and condescending.

Not worth the money.

Property is nice. Pool is too small for the property. We couldn’t even use the pool. There was 2 family’s there that would go down at six am or earlier and put there stuff on what little loungers and tables they had and tie them up until dark. So if you want to use the pool. Good luck. Condo smelled like mold and is needing some TLC. Beach is nice.

Not happy

Food in living area, on floor and couch, hair on bathroom counter. Beds very uncomfortable, Bathroom door was hard to close, tv in 2 bedrooms not working, no batteries in one of the remotes. Very noisy...I know you cannot control. Seemed like a herd of elephants walking above us and someone was in pool making a lot of noise after midnight while we were trying to sleep. We will not stay here again.

Amazing location, right on the beach, walking distance to several restaurants . Condo is very spacious , but a little bit dated. With few touches could be an amazing rental. Overall we loved IRB and enjoyed our stay!

Sand, Surf & Sunsets? Nope! Spores, Mold & Fungus

We made a reservation at Sunset Paradise for a nice Mother's Day week since this was the first beach vacation place we stayed at after our daughter was first born and we've stayed in other units at this complex during the following years and had a great time. It is also a smaller complex, which means less people and crowds and it was an easy walk to our favorite restaurant, Guppies, which is right across the street. So, we booked it through Florida Lifestyles Vacation Rentals and were looking forward to a relaxing family beach vacation. While the check-in process is rather pointless for this unit given that it is a keyless entry, we drove to the Florida Lifestyles Vacation Rental Office a few miles away, picked up our packet and headed to Sunset Paradise. Pulling it, the complex was just like we remembered with easy undercover parking, elevator to the floors, crystal clear pool with a spa and the beautiful Indian Rock beach waiting for us. Unfortunately, this is where the great beach experience ends. As we entered the unit, we noted a strong musty odor coming from the unit and it was quite muggy inside. So, after checking the AC thermostat, which was set at 78 degrees, we turned it down. We then noticed that the musty odor had become increasingly worse and that there was dust blowing out from the AC vent in the main living room. We checked the AC filter and found it clogged with dust and hair, so we changed it with no issues since there were extras in the hall closet. The AC vents throughout the entire unit were black with dirt and mold with the exception of the one in the laundry room which had black mold growing across the ceiling in front of it as well. Sand in the couches, leftover food on the floor, both bedroom windows with mold growing along the caulk line, cracked walls, a dirty refrigerator and drywall mud falling from the bathroom ceiling rounded out the issues. Let's be realistic, this unit is in dire need of updating and cleaning. Needless to say, we did NOT spend any more time in this unit and immediately contact the renting agency. Unfortunately, it was afterhours for them, which meant we were left playing phone-tag with several of their employees, but from what we last heard the agency did have a cleaning crew tend to the unit. Apparently it took them THREE days to clean it, so fingers crossed that the issues we had are no longer present and no one has to see, smell or experience what we did.

Place could use some love

I’ll start with the pros: great location, beautiful views and pool and hot tub area are nice and well kept. Now for the cons: the condo is in need of some maintenance, there was a lack of basic items like toilet paper, cleaning supplies and towels. We made due, but purchased more items than we expected we would have to, so for that reason, I would not reserve this unit again.

Booking and checking out were as smooth as every. Ask head for more info for actual gaining entry to the property. The town of Indian Rocks Beach is a beautiful getaway with plenty to do and an amazing beach.

Summer vacay

Enjoyed our stay. Very kid friendly. The pool area is a bit small for the number of units and people staying. The unit was spacious and well maintained. Overall a good summer vacation for our family.
